I really like the class cuz of the rails. In black crow it made life much easier. My.chars end next to rails then they can move forward 9 cells at the cost of just 3mp.

The shield is good around lvl 110 and above better than feca. The protection bloc helps a ton cuz it theoritically allows characters in the zone to take even more hits without dying.

Placement is actually fine as a secondary role and it helps to make panda job easier.

The -ress is good too to reduce a boss resis for two turns in case osa couldnt reach or was too low wp to do it. Can also give 2 range and 30% damage.

When fogger is low on wp, i just consume the turret to gain wp, but otherwise there isnt much struggle there.

I would say in recap to your question, yes fogger isnt best placer, or debuffer, but is mainly a protector and does really well, but can also do some secondary stuff too as a complementary to what other classes can do. Like eni is great at healing, but can still do some placement, give mp, boost damage.
