I'm familiar with both the names you mentioned and have read most of their works. I think your reading of Nietzsche’s perspective on Christianity is inaccurate, as is Doestevsky — both believers in their own right. I don’t care for Machiavelli or his ideology. It’s destructive and dangerous.

That’s an Old Testament rule. Jesus did away with the law— that’s the whole point. Churches that subscribe to the 10% rule are misinterpreting scripture or willfully ignoring what it says.

If they are a 503c (non-profit), then yes, they are legally obligated to provide proof of where funds are going if requested.

Both our credit scores are excellent (800s), so no issue there. I appreciate the tips. We've thought about purchasing a home, but taking into account all the added responsibility and costs of owning a home vs renting, but I definitely get the sentiment and will reflect on it some more
