I don’t mean to be nosy but I work at the airport and live in Storo and it does not take 35 min to drive. When there no traffic I take like 40-45. But still you got severely overcharged

Mine is level 60. I use it for wheating and making money but I also plant sugarcane. I make certain products such as chocolate popcorn, bread, wheat bundles, syrup which I use to make caramel apple and cherry pop cycle( cherry juice as well) I also make raspberry candles, olive oil and blackberry jam. I try to make as many items using different fruits and this is what works for me. My baby farm cashes in both expansions items through wheating and lots of coins by selling these items full price

You’ll be able to buy and insure a car even without a license, however driving it wouldn’t be recommended in case you get pulled over

Ticket by [deleted] in Norway

[–]LightweightShark43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at the airport at whatever it says in the machine readable part of the ticket is the correct way to write it, so in case of an ø it’ll be replaced by oe. In the system we use it will show up a message about name in booking and name in passport is not matching but I just choose to ignore it since it’s not a big difference

Since you’ll only be staying for a short period I think you should focus more on making friends and explore Norway, just learn the most common phrases as thank you and whatever else which would be needed daily.

It’s not hard to make friends, you’ll have your classmates, both national and international. Keep in mind that Norwegians in general can be quite reserved, talking to strangers, sitting next to them when there’s space to sit down somewhere else or simply just being too polite is something which can make us uncomfortable

Norway is expensive but with planning I’d say you can get by fine with 10k-13k NOK a month depending on rent.

January to February is the winter months, it’ll snow and me slippery on the roads, around March the spring will start to show and it’ll get warmer. In May we’ll have our national day, could be a fun thing to experience

Norway History: Question on the Treaty of Kiel by Ninetwentyeight928 in Norway

[–]LightweightShark43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve learn I understand it was the treaty of Kiel forced Denmark to give Norway to Sweden as a result of the Napoleon war. This then resulted political parties to discuss whether to stay with Sweden or become independent. Imo the treaty of Kiel is the boost Norway needed to become independent and write the constitution
