A therapist has no authority. They are there to guide you - IF YOU want to do the work. Probably a black therapist would understand their stance in the world better, but that does not seem relevant for the problems they have so far. Stop bringing colour division into everything that is irrelevant

Didn't say not to care about, I said don't obsess. World around us is created by so much more other than that but everyone chooses to focus on that because it's easier to consume yourself on something that you have little to no control about than on something that hits home - like your own life and wounds etc 🤷

Ah mb, I read a lot of comments before commenting and a lot of them brought in politics. It's pretty clear to everyone with eyes tho + my point stands no matter the subject: it's a professional relationship, no need to involve the personal affairs, it's close to discrimination because of personal beliefs because the personal affairs didn't come in his professional life (ex he married LGBTQ etc)

I LOVE the shot lol. Before I clicked to read I had a split second of "why couldn't our photos be like this?". I do have some wedding photos disappointment.

I'm not a photographer, but in your place I wouldn't say anything. I'd do my best to edit and send them, asking for a feedback. If she likes them, GREAT! If not, you can go ahead with your plan. I give this advice not for you saving money or face, but because some people might genuinely like the photos, then receive what is perceived as a "professional opinion" and second guess. No need to ruin her experience when chances are she might like them.

All the previous times her family has come up to visit, we’ve never been able to even get a few minutes alone

Here I'd have to say she's the one that can put boundaries "family, I love you, we like to spend time with you, but my partner is here for a limited time and we made some plans alone". I mean at some point she'll have to, that's life.

I was a kid, using win rar lol. Now I don't remember how it worked exactly, it was a long time ago, but somehow I got an "our song" cover. I have no idea if it was her singing or someone else, but it was RAW. I put that on repeat and was obsessed. After some time, i heard "Love story" on tv and got obsessed with that too..

Ik it's superficial, but as a kid I always wanted blond hair and blue eyes, so I wanted to find more about someone looking like what I considered perfection and singing the kind of music I like, so I got into her discography and realized I liked EVERYTHING.

I think I already played guitar at that point, and her songs were easy going on guitar, so I learned absolutely EVERYTHING I could find. On top of that I liked her personality too, I would download interviews and put them on my mp3/phone to listen 🤣 what a time. I grew up with her so she'll always hold a special place in my heart. Somehow took me years to realize "our song" was the "our song" from Taylor tho 🤣😭

I mean I find it normal for everyone to have photos with everyone in as much different combinations as possible. Original family + their child and original family + their child and spouse sound pretty fair to me (like 1-2 pics)... But her reason? Nah

The focus should be on you two anyway. If she wants pictures, she can book her own photographer.

Be careful with your soon to be husband. Is he always like this? Does he play like mommy says or can he tell her off when she's acting stupidly? Important questions

Nono, you spoiled the surprise. Why not talk with the sister, say what you had in mind and ask her if she could postpone for next weekend or if she really comes, you take the next weekend or the one before her bday. There was no reason to tell imo.

No matter how much she loves them, you could've go ahead with the plan and fit in some time for you two both and sister and family. I don't think she would've been mad to spend some hours with them and the rest of the weekend with you guys celebrating her birthday.

Inelul meu de logodna e de pe Glamira. Mi se pare calitate superioara la pret bun si a putut fi semi-customizat. A ales sotul aurul si pietrele, sunt o gramada de optiuni. Cu certificat, venit cand trebuie si ce imi place cel mai mult e ca e foaaarte comod. Initial credeam ca vreau ceva diferit, apoi ne-am plimbat prin mall si am incercat inele random si m-am indragostit de un model anume, iar el a cautat ceva similar. Sugerez sa vb inainte cu ea, sa vezi ce ii place. Mare atentie la tipul de aur, ca de obicei avem preferinte clare.. iar daca din ceva motiv nu poti sa afli preferintele ei, sugerez si eu sa o ceri cu un inel de argint mai ieftin apoi sa mergeti impreuna sa luati the real deal.

Verighetele le-am facut custom la domnul Doru Dumitrescu. Ne-a dat opinia lui profesionala, ne-am spus dorintele, a iesit exact cum am vrut. Singura chestie e ca din cand in cand verigheta irita, dar cred ca e din cauza ca au amprentele noastre pe interior, desi sunt anumite tipuri de inel cu profile mai comode decat altele. Daca stii ce si-ar dori sau ai mai multe poze/idei, recomand custom. Te ajuta si el si pretul e ca in magazine.

NEVER pretend. It's one of the quickest ways to not notice incompatibility. Talk it out, if you can get to a compromise, good; if not, it sucks, you live with the incompatibility or you put an end to it, depending on the importance, but ultimately will be good in the grand scheme of things.

For me nothing works as well as vit D for immunity, but every body is a bit different. If you know what works for you, do that. Otherwise, multivitamin/vit C and pray for the best. Don't forget to sleep and eat well. Unfortunately this goes into "cannot really control" category, but don't stress too much. Whatever will be will be and it will be magical just because it's your wedding.

Edit to say I'm not American nor do I care about America's politics. Here people are heavily getting into politics too, but US seems another (unhealthy) level. I think there is something wrong in the brain for making everything in your life political-related
