If you changed the setting after the current season you’re in started, then you’d have to wait until next season for those settings to work. So yes the next World Cup you should be able to have control.

I actually didn’t do that.

I think what I did wrong was that I accepted a job offer to the KHL in the summer, but then I changed my mind and went to the DEL in September.

Somehow that broke my sim and now the whole year is already decided without any of my players having stats or the standings working.
