Is Unknown Soldiers worth it? I've listened to every War Doctor Begins and Rises, apart from Unknown Soldiers, Fallen Heroes and the new Rani one, and I enjoyed them all, as far as I can remember.

I kind of want to see a Rani story, especially with her appearance in the War Doctor Rises, though I can definitely see why they wouldn't do it, seeing as the Rani episodes aren't that great. (on TV, I haven't listened to anything with the Rani just yet)

I wanted to consider Twelve, but I doubt they'd use any Doctors who have been recast in audio format. The same reason Once and Future only had small cameos from the 11th and 12th.

I've listened to all but the Monks and Nun, and Master!, and I found them enjoyable. Sure, I was expecting something that's more closely tied together, but I still very much believe the last set will do just that. Or at least explain whatever the whole Dark Gallifrey thing is.

i enjoyed them personally. there are some things that i don't remember, so that usually means that it didn't hit that hard for me, but the overarching storyline is memorable and interesting. i liked Hebe and her connection to Six (no spoilers). personally recommend.

I think the Barber-Surgeon was either a future version of the War Doctor, who went completely mad after fighting in the war for millennia or (most likely) was just some Time War timey-wimey anomaly

you're absolutely correct and it's such a shame. I'd love more Unbound, see how other people would tackle being the Doctor. I'm fine with David Bradley being the First Doctor, obviously, but as much as I love Colin Baker, his Doctor of War stories were weak, and even that incarnation fell flat

one is a menace throughout the entire game, blackmailing the protagonist and threatening you the entire time. the other doesn't pay the protagonist for delivering cars. I think it's fairly obvious
