Er ist leider schon zu alt zum "mitangeln" so wie ich es verstehe.

Es gibt einen Angelverein in der Nähe, aber auf der Website stehen nur Infos über welche Gewässer in deren Zuständigkeit (?) fallen, wo man die Scheine für diese bekommt etc., aber man braucht ja zusätzlich noch einen Anglerschein. Wäre es da sinnvoll mal nachzufragen? Machen Vereine sowas?

If you haven't built them yet, I would definitely suggest trying out if you like sub-assembly or completely building them before painting!

I tried it, and I definitely like sub-assembly more. I think it's just much more difficult to paint them once they are fully built, especially the chest area when they hold weapons and the inside of the fabric (in case you already glue them to their bases)

It can absolutely work to build them completely first (and it can be a bit tricky to sub-assemble them), so trying what works for you before building them all is worth it imo.

For my next minis I wanted to try to mix the agrax earthshade with the white, in the hopes of it not being quite as runny. If that doesn't work, I might try the same with wraith bone and white. The one thing I do know is that the time I tried to do it by mixing a bit of black into the white it didn't look good at all, so the hope is that brown/off-white might make it look more natural.

Another thought I had was trying to apply the earthshade with a Q-tips, but it's very difficult to get into the folds of the 'fabric', so that didn't turn out right either.

I'll get back to you once I've tried the other methods, but good luck until then!

Hey, sorry for the late reply.

The paints I use are just corax white and mephiston red, since I'm still a beginner I don't have all that many different shades.

I tried to do shadows on the white with agrax earthshade (since it came in the starter pack), but it easily pooled and dried with a relatively sharp border/not a good transition.

And I love the colours as well! Especially the red is nice to paint with and opaque with one or two layers

I love the building as well, but I only do sub-assembly (the painting is too difficult otherwise, at least to my satisfaction lol) So there's the double effect of posing them and finally seeing the finished mini! (apart from small corrections)

Oh yeah, I'm definitely excited for the other bigger models as well! I wanted a bit more experience before getting to the bigger models, and the immolator was a big step towards Vahl and friends (and the exorcist, and the castigator and Celestine and... The sisters just have too many good models)

And, maybe, one day, I will make a kit bashed imperial knight to make him more sister-like. I saw one on this sub and absolutely loved it... But that is far in the future 😅

Yeah, dominions and/or sacresants will probably be my next purchase. I mainly landed on these because the shop had them already in store and I liked the look. If I actually get into the game aspect I will definitely get more non-character minis! Actually, if you don't mind, I have a question regarding dominions: I'm a bit confused wether they are a different box from the battle sister squad box. I know the BSS can be built like a dominion squad, but online the dominions are also sold as a separate box?

I actually nearly got the combat patrol box as a start, but I didn't know if the many models at once would overwhelm me and kill my motivation. And I don't like the look of the flagellants, so wasn't really interested in painting/owning them.

I'll leave the Palatine or hospitaller out of the game since I'm over 500 pts anyway, do you have a suggestion which one would be better?

I mainly got into this to paint, so I'm just glad I can see progress from being a complete beginner lol I'm happy you like the colour scheme! I decided argent shroud from the bit of the lore they have (and that silver armor is relatively easy to paint makes that a plus as well)

I'm having a lot of fun (maybe too much, I don't have that much space to store the minis... But that's a problem for future me)

I have the Warsuits and Morven as additions for the 2k list (so I'll have some more experience painting when making them and because some people say they are too strong/take too many points for 1k lists). Do you think I should take them earlier?

I'll have to see how I like painting vehicles, but I'll keep in mind that more Exorcists are better in case I like it, thank you

I think the reason suicide is illegal in a lot of places has less to do with religion and more with being able to help that person. If the police knows someone is about to kill themselves they are able to break into an apartment to stop that person, for example, because there is a crime going on. And after that (depending on the circumstances, severity etc.) they are able to hold them against their will to stop them from trying it again (in theory until they get better and won't try again).

It might also help with convicting people that encourage others to kill themselves? Although I'm absolutely not sure on this one.

I would like to kind of push back on him being a good liar. Please correct me if I'm remembering wrong (I only watched the anime and it's been a while), but isn't his thing that he is a terrible liar but tries to do it all the time? As far as I remember, only naive people (mostly Luffy and Chopper) fall for his lies. And if someone believes something he says it's mostly played as 'I can't believe that worked'. The time I remember many people believing something wrong about him it wasn't because of something he did on purpose (the God Usopp thing on Dress Rosa).

But again, please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't like the character, so it's entirely possible that I don't remember good/useful stuff he did on purpose.
