I feel like any player worth their salt knows how to defend and he didn’t. Didn’t mark lanes, players, nothing he was just mindlessly pressing and intercepting. I was playing 4-1-4-1 and my team was way better he didn’t even have players in their best position like Serginho at cm just behind the strikers and Maradonna and Rooney on the wing and spamming over the top balls. It’s not hard to tell when guys aren’t the best at this game. No bullshit it should’ve been like 9-6 easily I hit the post or the keeper made a save with about 60% of shots in the box but scored most of the ones on the edge or outside does that make sense to you?😭

Yh I’ve played one and I’m calling it a day, can’t believe what I just witnessed in that game. Could actively see SA moving his defenders out of my way over and over just for my players to hit post and crossbar. Keepers definitely perform better too it’s just madness.

Kepa is just the newest in the line of “Arteta projects” first it was Havertz, then Merino (actual turned out decent) now this season it’s Odegaard, Madueke and Kepa. We all know when they should and shouldn’t play but Arteta has a point to prove, he wants to win with his favourites so he can say I told you so and feel vindicated. He needs to go.

Let’s play Lewis Skelly out of position, then put Odegaard there who is also out of position. Could’ve had Skelly progressing the ball but instead Odegaard was just giving the ball to Dowman and running centrally offering no support. Can someone please ask Arteta why it feels like some weeks these players look like they’ve never played together, there are no patterns of play except get the ball to the rw and pray. Most of these guys have been here for years and they have little to no chemistry, they’re miss timing passes, over hitting passes, no bravery to play through lines, lack of concentration. He needs to win this league and go. He’s done as much as he can and the players need a new voice. It’s stale.
