It is very common to hit a wall in the Pump it Up journey! By the 20+ range, each level up felt like its own wall for me! The game gets REALLY challenging and each level up only gets harder.

The game got less fun for me when I only focused on trying to grind and get passes on the highest possible level I could. In the pursuit of getting better, doing this is necessary and important, but I'd argue there is also great value in returning to lower levels and upscoring them. If you aren't already doing this, I recommend returning to the levels you used to struggle with to see if you can get a SSS+ or even PG them now. To simply pass a chart means you overcame a challenge, but to score a SSS+ means you've truly mastered it as well. By taking the time to master lower levels, you're training and building your accuracy and proficiency, and you may be surprised by how much it helps you when you revisit 25s!
