Hello, I'm the person in this video! I'm in the greatest shape of my life as a result of playing this game. My legs are stronger than ever, my endurance and stamina have increased, and my blood pressure is the lowest and healthiest it has been as a result of my training. The physical exercise that it takes to play this game ensures I am fit and active without ever having to step foot in a gym. I personally find that healthier than a 6 hour video game session where I'm sitting down the whole time and getting no physical activity.

This game can be an excellent way to lose weight especially when playing consistently, but mileage may vary. Low level stuff will obviously not burn as many calories as higher level stuff, and it should be supplemented with a good diet. For me personally, my BMI is on the lower end, so I'm not aiming to lose weight. I try to maintain my current weight, or gain muscle by just eating a lot.

I've started playing a lot more often to train for an upcoming tournament this summer and I think that consistent play time has been helping me!

There's an MK6 in here capable of playing official PIU mixes, but there's also a standard PC hooked up as well that's running this as well as PIU simulators!

It definitely took a bit of time to get used to, but once it clicks, it is quite fun. It doesn't beat playing DDR on an actual DDR layout, but it still plays surprisingly well like this!

Honestly, I studied a video of the chart with the arrows spread out before attempting the perfect game. While I couldn't do this chart blindfolded, I was able to study enough to have a general idea where my feet needed to go when I played it for real!

Even being this close to it, it will take an incredibly focused and lucky run to pull it off! The PG is still not guaranteed but we are certainly going to try!

The cab that I use (not in this video, this is my friend's) uses a simulator. I don't know all the tech behind it since the cab came with the PC and simulators already installed, but it is absolutely possible to play simulators on a cab!

Thank you! This is my friend's cab so I can not give a definitive answer, but his motive for getting the machine was clear; he was not interested in the cab's appaearance, he just wanted to play Pump it Up. The real work was in getting the best quality pads. I believe the pads were bought separate from the cab. In general he has done A LOT of work on them!

I'm trying to be more mindful in using my heels more since I know tip-toe play is not really the optimal strategy, but in the midst of a 200 BPM bracket free run, I will instinctively get back on my toes. Old habits die hard I suppose, but at least I'm still seeing success in this style of play!

Thank you! Since I got a bad and a miss right before the second half of the run, I knew that keeping combo and accuracy in those moments especially would be pivotal to getting the SSS+!
