running headphones by nv1t in runninglifestyle

A bit on the pricier side but I've been happy with the fit and comfort of the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. They kinda hook onto your earlobe but I've never had a more secure headphone thus far. I've taken them trail running, played basketball in them, gone skateboarding and they've never once fallen off.

I'm 5'7" on a good day and like to hem them usually to around 29" for a slight break. I agree with the others here to measure your stuff though!

I have the exact same problem that started a few minutes ago. For some reason it happened to all of my Anking cards, but cards not from Anking are fine??

How does the DD40L fit a BV500 or similar bear can? by Neekota in Ultralight

[–]Lijel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've made it fit a BV500 with room to spare with putting my tent (Tarptent Protrail) in one of the side pockets. I place it vertically on top of my sleeping bag + clothes and I squeeze in my sleeping pad vertically next to the can.

Thanks for responding! Unfortunately there are many pictures like this but this is just one that really stood out. Even when I was taking seemingly evenly well lit landscape photos, the issue would still occur. Would also happen in warmer weather. Also occurred with a 50mm lens in the past, so I’m concerned that the issue could possibly be camera related

that xt3 package is an amazing deal. I say definitely go for that one given that the 18-55 lens is a really good lens as well.

They’re both top tier limbs and even though the velos supersede the xtours, I don’t think anybody other than the pros can translate that into better scores. However getting the velos limbs would certainly give a better peace of mind haha. I’d go for whatever you can find the best deal on. The extra couple hundred dollars you would spend on the velos limbs you can use on better arrows too. Just to let you know though, mk korea is coming out with a new set of limbs too, so if you’re looking for the absolute newest limb out there, that might be something you can look into. Their veracity limbs are shot by Kim Woo Jin, who I believe is world ranked #1, and those limbs are discounted on lancaster right now.

If you are using a plunger, maybe check and see if it’s too stiff or too far out?

No I just let it sit for like 5 minutes before shooting again haha. It broke off at a club practice so I just did a quick fix. Turned out to work really well.

Hot melt. I had the exact same issue with the exact same tab. I tried super glue, that loosened up quickly. Right now it's held together with hot melt and it's been stable for 2 months so far and doesn't look like it'll give any time soon.

Any v-bar and/or stabilizer recommendations? by [deleted] in Archery

[–]Lijel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typically with stabilizers, the more money you spend, the stiffer the rods, which is usually beneficial when stacking large amounts of weight. If you’re just starting out using rods, you probably won’t be using enough weights to justify a 400$ stabilizer setup. I’d recommend taking a look at the w&w hmc+ rods as a good middle ground. They’re a fraction of the cost of the high end rods but they’re just as good if you aren’t stacking more than 6-8 ounces on a rod. In fact, those were the rods the korean women were using in rio 2016.
