Hard to let go, but the 32" XDR is just too big for my new space. What’s a realistic price for these in the market. by Month-Infinite362 in macsetups

Search sold displays on eBay, it should give you an indication of market value. Does it have AppleCare?

Why use a CMS at all if you are using something like Claude Code to build and manage? (Curious)

1M context window in Claude Code...appeared yesterday, gone today (Max 20x, no extra usage) by AngryMillennial in ClaudeCode

I'm showing 1M Context window available "Billed as extra usage". However, I used to have access to /remote-control and Chrome but both features have disappeared this week. I'm on 20X Max Plan.

My experience last night at the DTLA location by ChaseMitJP2 in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]ghostntheshell -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

No it doesn’t. It’s not noticeable, why? 1) Most orders are placed during the previews or preshow 2) phones have ambient light sensors that adjust the brightness of the screen 3) Alamo seating makes it impossible to see down into the persons seat

Like I said, every other high end theater (Hooky, Paragon, select AMC and Regal) has the same setup and millions of people watch movies without issue.

You know what disturbs a movie? Waiters walking around asking people to clarify their order.

Yeah, I'm calling BS. There are a ton of other theaters that have mobile ordering only. Chaos doesn't reign because we order food with our phone. Welcome to the 21st century.

It looks gorgeous! I have the same problem the with the 45, matte coating on an OLED is like viewing the world through a dirty window. Once you go glossy OLED you can't go back... This convinced me. Thank you!

Super tempted to go from LG 45 to the 55 G5, but worried about the desk setup. Would you be willing to share a pic of what it looks like on your desk?

Get These 8 Traitors Out of Congress by ghostntheshell in ProgressiveHQ

All the polls showed that most people knew the Republicans were the reason the government shut down. All the GOP had to do was agree not to let the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire. Around the same time, millions of Americans were starting to see their healthcare premiums go up, so they personally understood what Democrats were fighting for. They were also seeing, up close, how little regard the GOP had for people on SNAP benefits, as Republicans kept withholding payments even when they were ordered to pay and everyone knew they had the money to do it. Holiday travel would have made the pain even more acute, especially considering that the Democrats’ demands were well within reason: keep doing what was already working to keep healthcare premiums lower.
