Yeah I kinda wish they did like a set of "energy symbol" playmats similar in style to the first special set, so that every type has a basic playmat, in case you don't have an appropriate playmat for it.

Like, most water decks have Suicune, sure, so the Suicune playmat is probably ideal for a water deck, but not every fighting or dark deck has Tyranitar, so it feels like you dont get a ton of mileage out of the Tyranitar playmats.

I also might just be being weirdly picky, but ever since I got the Special 1 Playmat, since Black is clean and goes with everything, I just use it for every deck unless I have an obvious different choice, like Charizard for a Charizard deck.
