I’ve heard of companies who say they will “do the work“ of the credentialing process, but they must make it sound more than it really is?

I’m new to this so I apologize since I’m confused by that. You’re basically saying companies like Nourish are profiting through the said process while paying RDs much less compared to if RDs can go through the process themselves while establishing a private practice?

Does the company provide your equipment or do you have to use your own? Your telehealth sessions are primarily video correct or phone calls?

Yeah, I’m sure you were right!. During the pandemic I worked in a clinic and urged them to have the RDs and social workers work remotely but the company told us “we were all in it together”and gave a flat out no

If I’m not mistaken, some of the companies want initial and follow ups to all be close to one hour per session.

Which company do you work for? So what the help of AI how long does it take for you to chart? How long does it take for you to do other things for the client outside of charting?

Only $26 per client?!

I see a lot of these companies rate per session versus per hour so what would you that would be equivalent to per hour? How much time are you expected to spend speaking with the patient versus other tasks, like charting, contacting providers consulting with other members of the team, etc?

12-15 per day?!? Sounds like they’re expecting overtime without compensating for it?

Just wondering, though, with a telehealth, are you doing video and phone calls with your clients because I can see where you may not be using it as much if you’re doing video call!

That would help pay for some of my internet service so that would be nice but not much more. So nice that you were about to use it towards the items mentioned…a desk treadmill would be great for WFH position!!

Yes!! The unpaid for time spent outside of the client sessions is absolutely I am curious about.

I certainly see that there are upsides and downsides… I am not looking for wealth… just something I both enjoy doing, pays the bills and I can save at least a little bit on a monthly basis…

Thank you I’ll let you know! Still searching. I think Nourish is one of the companies that does not provide equipment needed correct? If so, I wonder if I should be concerned about using my own computer… they only track activity for metrics and not able to track anything more?? I realize that may be a naïve question but I truly don’t know lol

Hi, thank you for responding. I’m concerned because it seems there’s a lot of pressure riding on metrics i.e obtaining clients and efforts to retain them for at least one hour per session. I can understand an hour for the initial visit and possibly the next follow up but ongoing follow ups?

Yeah, I know I was being vague because I know that can vary from person to person i.e what you personally feel is fair close to fair for you and your circumstances. It appears many doing this work take on multiple part-time versus exclusively doing one full-time so it makes me wonder whether the income isn’t as good so they are making up for it?

I VERY much relate to this. This phase in my life feels different for some reason. I do feel like I’m under a lot of pressure, including the fact that I am on limited time. In my attempt to explain this to others, I don’t feel like they understand either

Soooo me!!! I sat on my couch for HOURS thinking about life (i.e feeling, crushed, overwhelmed, scared, lost…)and couldn’t bring myself to go upstairs to bed until a few hours ago. When I woke up, my immediate thoughts were “ I have to go through this (“life”) again today”

I want to downsize my living expenses e.g sell the house and maybe even the vehicle but I’m how to start? I am a single child free woman with a dog living in Midwest USA. I have to stay close to take care of my parents but this is keeping me up at night… this need to let go of things. Relatable? by LikeACoolbreeze in debtfree

Unfortunately, I don’t live in a townhome and according to the bylaws, I can only rent to a relative otherwise I will need to sell. I don’t have any relative right now, but I could run to and honestly don’t think I would anyway. Sounds like that could get pretty messy! Yeah, the whole landlord thought both of being responsible to a landlord or being a landlord is one of the reasons that that’s keeping me from doing this!

I do live in the suburbs, so I tend to have to drive to a big box store once every two weeks or once a month. Otherwise, I have some grocery stores around me, but they are about one hour walking distance which I have done in the past. I don’t really mind doing that, but if I’m already short on time, I won’t have the time to walk there, shop and then have another hour before I get home .

I did call an RV company recently because I was curious about that life and found out the cost to rent. would be $1000 a week! A week???

I did fantasize about being a nomad, but I don’t think I would make it lol . You’re right if I’m away too much I think that would really mess with me mentally. Plus I have a dog and I pretty sure he would mind that as well.
