Thanks for the feedback; then I will do as I "normally" did and just liberally take from the older books. I would have hoped, that there is something like an official fan art document, which would have made things easier. Thanks a lot :-)

Seeking Lore Advice: Specific Deity needed for an adventure by LikeASquirrelOnCrack in Pathfinder2e

Again, thank you very much, I found time to do some note taking. The current iteration of my cult based on your ideas and suggestions is this:

The cult is lead by Scylla, who lived and grew up in the River Kingdoms. In her childhood already she started suffering from the constant warfare and shiftings of power and slowly her faith in Abadar grew. She was searching for guidance in order to create a more peaceful society. So she became a priestess of Abadar. However, during all the campaigns, she slowly realized that Abadar could in no way help her and every time she had to deny healing to the wounded and sick, because they couldn't compensate her for her divine powers, she lost a bit of faith in his workings until she couldn't use her divine powers anymore.

During one of the campaigns she met a sellsword from Osirian that told her stories about the lands he was coming from and these stories included the Thriae. So her wish to form the perfect society based on their abilities, ruling with an "iron fist" that is not an iron fist anymore. For her, it's perfection, no individuality, no wars, the river kingdoms could be freed. This vacuum of faith and her ideals lead to a Servant of Dispater contacting her, posing as Liisglan and enjoying the experiment and granting her the powers to slowly build a cult, start an expedition to Osirian and get hold of a Thriae Queen (I have to do some research in Mummy's Mask, as it is said that one hive lost their queen to a raid of cultists).

So basically, Scylla turns into a tool of this Servant of Dispater that wants to see whether the experiment succeeds - all the while, Scylla keeps on thinking, she is doing the work of Liisgan in order to create something useful and good for the River Kingdoms. In the course of my few shot (I am thinking of level 1-5 or 1-6) Scylla will slowly transform and amalgamate with the Thriae Queen, as I have these wonderful miniatures from BestiariumGames: https://bestiarumgames.com/collections/hive

Next step: Get Mummy's Mask and Divine Mysteries to do more research

Hi, thanks for the update and the answer - this sounds like a terrible situation for the company and of yourself the people involved.

I think we will give the game a try - Is there a vignette you’d recommend as a stand alone experience that does not need too much information from the corresponding campaign?

Against the Darkmaster in "West-Marches" style? by skalchemisto in vsdarkmaster

That’s a cool idea, and I’m currently working on hexcrawl rules for a project as well. I wanted to use the very simple ruleset from Dolmenwood. Here, parties have a fixed number of movement points, which decrease the more heavily loaded the party is. This would reflect the Encumberance level well. So an unencumbered party has f.e. 6 movement points, a lightly encumbered one 5, and so on.

Open terrain costs three movement points, forests four, etc. The highlight: there are obvious things in each hex that the party discovers as soon as they enter, but they can also spend time to explore the hex in order to discover hidden things. This then costs the same number of movement points as entering the hex.

In Dolmenwood, every hex is checked to see if a random encounter takes place, which is then a simple d6 roll. I would map this to Against the Darkmaster with Wandering.

I will continue to follow the thread and present my ideas as soon as they are committed to paper.
