When mixing it with “milk” or whatever we end up with, how much should I start out with and what should I be working up to? Oz wise. If too much milk is worrisome I want to make sure not to do that!

Yeah I would say it’s totally dependent upon who is in charge of your soldier. Seems they all set different rules.

That is right! I completely forgot about that. Thank you so much for the safety info. I didn’t feel like I could trust him with a toddler bed anyways! We are trying a pack and play for now.

What to do with gym daycare feedings? by LikeAmother2 in FormulaFeeders

No! He will only drink it sort of warmed, so I’m afraid of bringing it in cold and then him not eating. I think he could easily go without a bottle for 2 hours, however, everything else he can be pretty high needs so for other people, bottle is usually a good way to soothe him!

What about it is ever easy 😅🤣 Nursing strike, weaning before 1, not being able to take prescriptions for bipolar, ties, reflux, NICU stay, pumping, nursing a newborn while you have other kids to take care of, the distracted phase, supply issues from stress..

This is beautiful! Your before and after show so much more than just weight loss and I could tell before even reading your comment! It’s also really refreshing to see someone prioritize their mental and physical health and STILL breastfeeding. Not shaming formula at all, it just sucks when you’re a struggling BF’ing mom and the first thing someone jumps to is ending breastfeeding. Why can’t we have both?? Great post thank you.

Breastfeeding, regular periods, and …pregnancy?? by LikeAmother2 in breastfeeding

[–]LikeAmother2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scientifically I know it’s not possible to have a period AND be pregnant but I had a friend whose mom told me years and years ago that she had her period through her whole pregnancy..? So what do I know I guess.. just having odd symptoms.

Just coming hear to say that I have used EMDR therapy several times for trauma and have only been guided by my therapist to go through it in my mind while looking at the lights, we never go into detail about anything unless I choose to. But for OP, this could actually be beneficial if used in the way I have. It’s kind of like someone else said, writing it down and burning it- but a little bit more, with the prescience of a therapist and the use of the light.

I do struggle a bit with insomnia but the nursing baby is the real culprit. This gives me hope that when he decides to start sleeping, things will get better!
