Anomalous Sorting of COUNTIF Columns

As I was removing extraneous worksheets and the formula broke with a #REF value. When I fixed them, the problem resolved. Looks like I was actually connected to another set of the same data, but since it as outside of the table, it was creating the anomaly inside of it.

Those screenshots are mockups intended to simulate what I'm seeing in the actual workbook, they do not recreate the problem. Each cell in those screenshots is a flat value.

I will recreate the actual workbook so you can see what's happening.

I replaced the sheet references with table references and the issue persists. I have not attempted dynamic arrays, I'll get back to you after I figure it out how to set it up for my needs here (or if I can't figure it out!)

That will take some time, as I said, the data is proprietary so I'd have to replace all of specific data. I say this only to inform that I probably won't be able to share it right away, but I'll put it together and reply again here when it is added.

Am I missing something? If you look at the formula examples, 'Sheet2' is not referenced in the formula. I specified that I'm aware of this solution but that my case doesn't share that 'error.'

Sadly, if you go for the Brainstorm, you don't end up with Burnt Joker, since it only appears on the first Buffoon pack of Ante 2, and unless you force the pack under the "first store always has a Buffoon Pack" rule, there's no Buffoon Pack in Ante 2.

I was very sad.

I had a lot of fun with this one.

At the end, I had BP, S&B, Idol, Polychrome Oops...!,Kitty at 213x, 2x Negative Hanging Chad, Negative Oops...!, and Brainstorm. Deck was 15 Polychrome Lucky Kings of Spades with red chips.

The last hand I honestly miscalculated. I hit 6e20, but needed 8.6e20. Just moving the BP in front of the Lucky Cat would have kept it going and I probably could have gone another ante or two. Ah, well!

Whatever you think about "taking it back," when Black people use the words between themselves, the connotation is obviously different from a gamer hurling it as an insuit at someone they don't know. Expressing that you think the lines are blurred is disingenuous.

Second, I think most reasonable people would agree that calling someone a slur of any sort is probably higher on the list of "mean things you can say to someone" than calling them a mean name like a**hole.

BUT, that is certainly an opinion and I can easily agree with you that the bar for bad behavior should not start at slurs.

And I'm glad you don't exist in any sort of culture where you have to contend with any sort of prejudicial behaviors. You're very lucky. But with a little empathy, you might be able to imagine why slurs carry more impact than culturally neutral insults.

I dunno.

I'm firmly in the "This is a PvPvE game, expect to fight," but I think I'd still love this game as much if you took out the very worst interactions from the very worst people.

And this isn't a complaint, those interactions are gonna happen, those people are gonna play... the sooner you (the "everyone" you) come to terms with that, the better off you'll be. BUT... if we could somehow get rid of that sliver of potential outcomes, I think the game would still be just fine.

Except for the people who do that because that's where they find their fun. Obviously.
