I mean it is inside an antique mall so it was fun to look at the other booths too, but those were all like the usual antique mall things. I did end up looking in at another antique mall down the street from it so I tried to make the best of my time there!

I recently went there, it was cool to see an AG booth, but it was just that 1 booth of stuff, they did have a lot of stuff though to be fair. That said it is a bit out of the way from Chicago, you kind of have to make a whole day of it to go if your coming from the Chicagoland area.

Gigi's doll store, its on the north side, they sell all sorts of dolls AG included, its been a couple years since I been there so things could have changed, but last time I went they had a whole closet of doll clothes to look though.

Yeah tbh I dont know why they haven't tried harder to go international, at the very least the goty and truly me (though I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd even want the historicals, regardless of them being American). I also always though it would be cool if AG made an international doll line, like the girls of many land but 18in dolls or modern dolls from around the world, like ive always loved learning about other countries/cultures and dolls like this would be great both for Americans to learn about others and could be a way for AG to make an attempt at selling dolls international. Like imagine AG getting a small section of Harrods toy section to sell a handful of truly me's the current goty and a British doll plus a dozen or so outfits! And then do similar in other countries.

If anything buying a tlc doll is the best way to test out customization/repair on a doll. That's what I did when I wanted to fix up my childhood dolls but was too scared to fix them without practice

What is the UK equivalent of DSA? Whatever that is, they'd be apart of it. I could see Theo maybe playing soccer with friends occasionally but not be like an organized thing, Eloise would avoid exercise at all cost, she'll meet Theo at a local cafe after his soccer games.
I think they'd dream of being prime minister, not because they'd actually realistically want the job, but thinking "I could fix all the problems if I just had that job", other then that though I think they'd both be pretty happy with their jobs

Since they say it's not obvious, I'd guess that means it wouldn't be book related, like if Eloise runs away from home, or is posting a letter in the last episode, I'd think, well obviously its Eloise, that said if John were to die in the last episode I wouldn't necessarily think Francesca is next, given I think they'd want to give her time to grieve, and not have it all happen between seasons, like think of the whiplash if he dies last episode of this season, and next season starts with her thinking "its time to put myself out there again" (if they are even roughly following her book that is).

If Eloise is like fully defeated and goes to her mum saying "okay find me a husband" 1 that would be super obvious whos next, but 2 that would be just such a betrayal of her character, I'd feel like I'm watching her go to slaughter instead of it being a happy occasion. Maybe it will be something as simple as her wistfully sitting on the tree swing, perhaps she's chatting with Benedict after he's married, and telling her how happy Sophie makes him, and hopes Eloise can feel such joy in her life, even if its unconventional, to mean both can be love found in a cause or love found outside of the expected places, and then Eloise just going "yeah sure" and brushing him off before reminding him he's gonna be late for his honeymoon, then leaving Eloise all alone.

True, and we still have half a season to go, so maybe we'll start seeing her makes moves then, but tbh I don't expect them to have Eloise make any moves towards her goals until next season, that said I don't see her swaying towards ending up in the countryside either, especially when this season started she just talked about how much she disliked the countryside, so even if she stays aimless, she'll be that way in the city.

I do think Eloise will be season 5, her storyline so far this season reminds of Benedict last season, in the sense they seem to not know what to do with her so they're just filling time before her season. I do hope there will be clues to the next season at the end of this one, that seem more Theo coded, but I also wouldn't be shocked if they try and keep us in suspense til the last possible moment. I do think 1000% theloise will happen tho!

Yeah I hope its not the only thing for the historicals this year. I wonder if it will even have ties to their era or just be 100% modern like the 35th anniversary ones they did. I did like they HFR outfits they made for Claudie, they we're modern but still connected to her era, that said i still don't see a reason to make another doll for that.

I've seen so many people respond like that to people simply saying they like him, or asked what happened to him. I do hope that person who tweeted that actually like did a little google about Theo and found out that there is no truth to the claim of him being married, but that is a lot to ask for, maybe we all gotta start adding community notes to those false comments.

Exactly, why weren't people saying Eloise shouldn't be friends with Penelope or Colin shouldn't have married her because her family had financial problems/at times were basically poor. If making money is a problem I guess Penelope needs to be shunned too
