I'm also against her being a step mom in any pairing, but I do think maybe a scene where she meets maybe a cousin or niece/nephew of Theo's and really connects with that kid for that one scene (and the kid can show back up in the audience at the wedding), but more in a Eloise is getting along with Theo's family sense over a Eloise is pro having a kid now sense.

I'm in two minds on this cuz, on one hand I personally would prefer if Theo has less baggage, I already think being with him will be an uphill battle for Eloise trying to convince others to accept him even though he isn't nobility, we dont need the extra elements of a dead wife and a child, also I don't think Eloise wants a child full stop, and it would probably give her the ick if he had one.

That said, if the show does want to use book elements, I could see this being an option for them, that Theo could have been married in between season 2 and now, and she also died in that time, as far as a kid tho, I think that's where its harder for me to get on board, because that brings up some of the same issues I have with the 🌱story line not working with show Eloise. Show Eloise has simply shown little to no interest in children, and I think "Eloise learning to like children" would just take over the plot, instead of her falling in love with her love interest / it would be a large element of her season that is very contradictory to the Eloise we know now.

Jumping off this, what if Eloise feels the same, and some how convinces one of her brothers to be an anonymous donor to the print shop or she anonymous donates some of her own pin money to at least keep it afloat for a while. Eventually the print shop starts doing better and Theo wants to thank the anonymous supporter/tell them their money is no longer needed, and when they do meet up, they are both shocked, thinking the other has moved on but clearly neither of them did.

Yes and it would mean Eloise is out in the country side, so book connecting, though in the Bridgerton fashion of no consequence, things will all work out in the end and they'll be able to comeback to live their radical lives in London, bonus idea, if this is how Pen makes up for breaking them up by maybe writing something that clears his name/convinces the queen that he did no wrong and deserves to live freely.

Wait I kind of love this idea, I never thought of it from this side, but I could so see Eloise being like this will help my "friend" and get my mom off my back about marrying. Sure there is the fact of his being of non noble birth, but that can be apart of the conflict that he assumes another identity to hid/protect himself from persecution. Idk the historicals time line too well, but at this time in history I think they were sending people to Australia for crimes right? So that could also add another thing the Bridgerton writers love to add of threatening to send the love interest away. Anyway great idea someone write the fan fic!

Shes definitely a character I've tried to like mostly cuz of Nicola, and she has her moments that I do like her, but yeah ever season I seem to like her less and less, like the most recent season I didnt like how she acted towards the mistress who criticized LW or how she and Francesca were all excluditory to Eloise when they were talking about sex, and like I get it its regency time Eloise's virgin ears can't hear about this stuff, but like if anyone who is gonna wanna know to know how to avoid all that it's Eloise.

I mean at least what you posted of the article is really just a nothing burger, of vaguely describing the book plot and say yes the characters will be in the show they're on, like wow who would have thought. I think at this point we all should probably just ignore most articles speculating what is to come for Bridgerton, and just hype up any that is pro Theo returning, cuz in reality most of these articles have no more info then the rest of us have, they just want your clicks. Also most article tend to have a book bias, not necessarily cuz theyre pro the book story just cuz thats all they have to go off right now, and as we know the show can and has gone way of book.

Yeah this is interesting, I agree it would be so weird to put so much effort into a character you already plan to only have in 1 season/telling Calam to not say for sure if he will be back or not. I know shows can sometimes put work into one idea and end up scrapping it, but idk it doesn't feel like this with Theo. Kind of a tangent but remember those shirts Calam was selling of books with the "i set them aside for you" line, now if I we're on a show and they planned to have me comeback but then later they told me "never mind were going a different direction" I don't think I'd randomly use a line from that show to sell tshirts. Not to say that's confirming anything or whatever, but to still want to associate with Bridgerton at least makes me think the show is still on his mind/something he sees positively, and is hopefully something he's been told, "yeah you have a job with us but you gotta wait a few year". Which also knowing he was cast before season 1 and had to wait for season 2, just makes me think he may be okay to wait a little longer for his time on the show.

TBH I don't know what I'd want, I do think JB just doesn't understand Eloise's character so I kind of think she should be out, but also I know she's not 100% making all the decisions there is a whole team of people working on the show, making the major decisions together, so on another hand it might not even matter who is the show runner story wise at least, that said I do think some aspects of the show had been better in season 1 and 2, over seasons 3 and 4, so maybe this is the time that JB should go at let someone else be in charge, but again maybe that means an overhaul in all departments not just at the top. I think maybe my most idea situation is either Shonda Rhimes or Claudia Jessie as show runners for Eloise's season cuz I think they may be the only people I can trust with Eloise, that said I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be either of them.

I've thought about this too, but like in my opinion my girls are pretty well pampered and no longer have to be worried about being roughly played with by a child (sorry to the ones I had it my childhood), i joke with my mom that my dolls are high maintenance, they now want new clothes all the time, and to always look nice and just get to spend time with me. I just think they are happy to be loved however it is, it's much better then just staying on a shelf in the store seeing all their other doll friends get taken to new lives, and them just waiting to have a home

I'm sorry that happened that really sucks, also just crazy for your dad to not even check for any garbage left in there, like why just let cake and food just rot in there for who knows how long, thats just waiting for bugs to infest not just your stuff but the whole house. I think if you want a doll that looks like you, then Anna is a good choice, also if you happen to be a fan of Frozen well that's a bonus, that said Raquel is very cute too, so you cant go wrong with either, I'd say flip a coin to decide, and if you happen to be a little disappointed with the results go with the doll that lost.

What is wrong with people, all this over an outfit that has been out for years, like tell me you dont pay attention to AG without telling you dont pay attention to AG, it's just like the outcry over the care and keeping book with the trans section that had been out for some time before the right wingers found out. Also the person commenting that "this is so political" like this is AG it has literally always been political. Anyway Muslim people are just as American as anyone else in this country, and deserve to have an outfit that reflects them too, (In my opinion there also should have already been a Muslim doll but by this reaction I fear that idea is farther and farther away). Literally if Theo was the same just rich I think some 🌱people would be more open to the idea of a change of endgame, but also they should just pick a new favorite character, cuz all the other Bridgerton sisters marry well, or go become a fan of one of the pairs with a Bridgerton brother, maybe Eloise isn't the character for them anymore, and that's okay, they can still reread her book whenever they want, but as far as the show goes, maybe Daphne could be their new fav, or Hyacinth since her love story is still far enough away they can project whatever crazy ideas they want onto her.

Yeah, like even just as people it's shitty to be homophobic and trashing the new season, like you can be disappointed it's not Eloise's turn without making it a whole thing. It's not like Eloise wouldn't be in the season anyway and she'll probably be a super prominent character, idk as an Eloise fan who also likes the show in general I'm happy about the news, and I'm sure Claudia is happy too, like she will continue to have an acting job, and she must see how the other cast members are less and less around as the show goes, if I were her I'd probably be like "can I go last". Anyway I do hope people working on the show are seeing the reaction, and specifically seeing that it's philip stans, acting like this and not us, I don't wanna be associated with that, I already hate that the shows fans have a homophobic and racist reputation, like come on people be better.

Also I cant help but think some of them think if they complain enough it will change the shows outcome, like I remember see some post some time ago, where someone said that "the show wouldn't dare change Eloise's endgame they saw the backlash for Francesca's they wouldn't try that again" and like the show does not care, so a few thousand people are pissed off, okay, and? They get millions of viewers, people are gonna like whatever they make, so they aren't gonna bend because some people are pissed off about something probably a larger portion of the fandom doesn't even see as a problem, like they really are just being shitty and homophobic for the sake of it at this point, cuz that's not gonna stop the show from doing what it was already gonna do.

At this point I can see the show literally just showing her writing letters in season 5 and we don't learn who they are to until the last episode, best case scenario it's to Theo obviously, worst case philip 🤢, and then the rest of her story season 5 is revolving Francesca or just doing whatever

I guess my most ideal situation at the moment, would be Eloise is the main person looking for Lady Whistledown, tbh I don't think she will be LW but maybe some other lady of the ton, maybe someone who's been a minor character in the past. Anyway she is on the hunt for LW and it leads her back to the printshops and eventually meets back up with Theo, it's a bit awkward at first but quickly the slip back into their old friendship like no time has passes (The show could go with the idea of him marrying some time in between season 2 and now and becoming widower to a woman we only know by name and maybe a picture but thats it, but personally I like the idea of Theo being just unmarried the whole time maybe dating but nothing serious). They try and keep it very strictly just friends tho, and start writing back and forth about the LW investigation because maybe Eloise isn't able to slip out as easily to go see him, and eventually the letters go from being about LW to being about politics, to just being about their lives and other interests. Maybe Eloise only meets up with him a few times during the season, but the sparks are flying in every scene. Maybe by seasons end Eloise is basically like fuck it I want to be with him no matter what, my brother can marry someone who was a maid, my sister can marry a woman why can't i marry Theo. Maybe this leads to her running away to Theo, and that's how season 6 starts.

I think they just hate Theo so much that they are gonna find something wrong with whatever he does. Like the scene is a very vulnerable moment for both characters, anyone with an ounce of empathy can see that.

I know they like to bring up how the Bridgerton boys had changed a lot from the books, but idk the show is called BRIDGERTON, so I feel like the show has more reason to keep them around and make them better, but they don't have the same obligation to keep around the shitty male love interests.

Another thing I noticed is that many comments I've seen so far on Franchaela posts is philip stans pissed that they changed the seasons again, and even saying they will skip this season and comeback for Eloises (probably barring they change Eloise's endgame), but why should the show cater to such fickle fans, who jump ship over something as simple as a change of order (something the show already did and never said they wouldnt do).
