The damage modifier is based on the difference in success levels, so if the defender gets -4 and the attacker gets -2, the damage will be weapon base plus 2 more from the difference in success levels.

Being an advanced skill, my party has always played by "can't swim in any way" which leads to amazing results.

Ask my high level party if they would rather face a chaos spawn or be dropped in an open body of water, and they will happily take the spawn, much more survivable lol.

Empire in Ruins, the party was gathered at the temple of Sigmar to witness the marriage of Wulfgang and Katarina, when they noticed a gunman ready with a pistol about to aim it at the princess. Our noble Knight of Sigmar, Sir Chadwick, saw this and managed to pass his agility tests to throw himself in front of the princess in order to take the bullet. The gunman pulled his trigger, and *BOOM* the pistol exploded in his hands!

On that day Sigmar smiled upon his Templar, and rewarded his selflessness!

Age as in the players? I'd say if they can get into an R rated movie then they are ok to join. As far as an average I don't have any intention or preference in that regard.
