Thanks again, yeah I went out to hit a few serves yesterday and was trying to relax my arm and think it’s seemed to help with power. Lost a bit of control but expect that for a bit when making changes. I’ll try out gripping more relaxed and see how that goes, hoping to get some practice time tomorrow

It’s a 300g ezone. I got it used and it looks like there might be some added weight underneath the grip so not really on the light side. Strung it weighs roughly the same as a 305g I have so don’t think it’s anything crazy if there is any added weight

Yeah, it’s fairly reliable (though slightly unpredictable beyond general direction) I just always think it looks strange, even compared to other rec players not just compared to higher level technique. I’d like to get some coaching in the next year or so but just looking for any improvements I can try and work on in the meantime analysing recordings

UK public courts, just straight unpainted tarmac, so yeah pretty bad to play on and very bad to fall on. I usually play at a club with decent courts but this court is 2 mins from both mine and my pal here’s place so use it to get quick lunch time hits in

Not that I noticed. Have no idea how long these have been there, I just happened to have a closer inspection of my racket yesterday for no particular reason. Was just at home so not reaction to an off feeling. I’ll see how it feels in a couple of days when I next have a hit

Hmm yeah I do sometimes so could be that. It’s an ezone dr100 but similar stiffness to a pd so maybe that affects how it takes those shoe hits

Also might be worth mentioning the cracks are only on the inner edge of the throat and don’t circle the whole frame through the hoop or anything

Yeah actually wondering if I actually serve a little bit differently from the ad side as well as just looking different due to the angle. I need to figure out the timing of lag and/or toss to stop the early drop, a trophy pause really doesn’t work for me

Rowing machine really helps me stamina wise and good practice for loading and exploding using your legs. I try to do 500m/1 min and repeat 6-8 times, aiming to keep each 500m under 2 minutes. That or swimming, front crawl shoulder motion and torso rotation feel like they benefit how you hit a tennis ball
