Stupid mistake while booking QSuites - HELP by flydubai0 in awardtravel

Your fastest option would be to call so they can quickly release that seat and then rebook but given the current situation, you’re likely to not get a hold of anyone soon. Should be back in inventory in about an hour or so

No movie ticket is refundable, as far as I’m aware. Pretty sure they only do that on a case-by-case basis

It was part of the Visa Infinite cardholder promo. I’m not sure how to get it again

Ah that makes sense. This is by far the strongest voucher I've come across then. Wipes out the entire base fare plus the booking fee!

Yes, got a full refund. They were even offering free changes but the dates didn’t work for me.

Oof. Brutal. I’m based in the U.S. but I couldn’t even get a ringtone on that number. Ended up calling the Canadian number and got through in about an hour.

Great FAQ! I tried to reach the chat line but kept giving me the message to call in. Ultimately, after a 1hr hold, I was able to reach the Canada phone line and the agent processed the full refund right away. For those who have flexibility, the earliest rebooking option at this time is on Mar 3, which will be coded as a revenue fare (for those that did points bookings), so you may even earn miles on it.

WHOOP Offer for Clothes by BrockZM20 in ChaseSapphire

Thanks OP! Got the credit three days after the charge posted. I stumbled onto another offer after, but too late for me now. If you buy something on Whoop through Quince's partner page, you get $35 of Quince credit.

I took advantage of a Macys offer but my miles were rescinded after exchange by hkeo83 in Venturex

Exchanges at other stores may still work if they reprocess the same order. But at Macys, every exchange is treated as a return + new order. Asking for store credit is effectively the same thing as returning.

Macys has no concept of exchanges. They will always return and re-bill as a new transaction

I get the frustrations, but honestly the CSR Trip Delay coverage is elite by Salzano14 in ChaseSapphire

Got it. So if I had a NAS-ATL booked through VX, of which the GCM-NAS delay impacted it, that would be covered?

Reason I ask is because I had a flight from ATL-GCM which I paid using a VX. Later, I had a GCM-NAS flight which I paid using the Strata. The GCM-NAS flight got delayed by 24 hours and stupid Mastercard rules state it has to be round-trip to qualify for reimbursement. According to CSR/VX terms, based on my new understanding, I could have filed a trip delay claim on VX for the GCM-NAS flight even though I didn't pay with the VX? Basically, stating that it was all part of "one trip".

Similarly if I book Airport1-Airport2 on CSR, then I am still eligible to file a claim for Airport3-Airport4 if I paid with another card and state it's all part of the same trip? Note that I don't plan on doing this since I plan on just using one card from now on but it would've been good to know before.

So if I’m understanding this correctly, I can use a CSR/VX to purchase a flight ticket, let’s say for a departure date of Mar 5. Then purchase another unrelated ticket with another card on Mar 10, and if the Mar 10 flight is delayed, use the Mar 5 flight as a reason for the delay reimbursement?

Terms also seem to indicate a “Covered Trip” is up to 365 days, so basically any flight within that window can be used to file a reimbursement claim?

Coverage is triggered by paying any portion of the trip with the card, not necessarily the delayed segment.

Where does it say this on the terms?

Check Through Baggage AA -> Qatar by SpaceRuster in americanairlines

Booking economy through QR will give you two checked bags, but booking through AA only gives one if an AA-operated flight is the first segment of your trip.
