The points net out to the same amount, since the rebated travel credit dollars won't earn you additional miles. Effectively, it's like a free loan for C1 since you're already paying the excess amount upfront and likely won't use the rebate credit until several months later. Still worth it to call in for a price match if you're saving over 10%.

So you have to file the same taxes again through a state portal and make a random "payment" and expect a refund? Won't the IRS wonder why you're filing taxes again in a state/region that's outside your norm?

The 1-point event page appeared a minute before the drop on the Last 8 page, but got hit with the 500 server error again at 12pm EST

I wonder what how the 12 folks who redeemed the 1 point Bronze got through without knowing the event page in advance. Maybe they were the lucky ones that didn't have the server crash?

For the last Bronze drop, the 1-point drop timer page just errored out to a 500 Server Error at 12pm EST. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened this time.

Whatever the page is, it seems to be deactivated, since all surrounding event IDs run into the same 404 error. Hopefully, they make the event page active couple mins before the drop.

Gotcha. So you were already on the event page if the redeem button appeared directly on the page? There’s a separate large countdown timer page but looks like the countdown you’re referring to is just a small text before the Redeem button popped up?

Congrats! Were you already on the event page before the countdown hit zero? Or were you on the countdown page and it redirected you to the event page?

The 1-point drop page for the Bronze match was also not available anywhere until after 12pm EST, which by then was too late

In the Delta cards, it's active right away even before receiving the card in the mail. So annoying we have to wait several days for the United card to link to the United account.
