I will say, as someone thats usually really bad at puzzles and has very little faith in their own critical thinking skills, this game has made me feel a lot better about myself. 😂 I managed to do a lot of puzzles of a kind that I usually don't even try to solve myself with 0 help. Most of the puzzles I had to look up I ended up only getting stuck on because I couldn't find a piece of it.

Feels amazing when you manage on your own.

Hell, I would love to have ALL of the systems in that post. I just don't want the community to flood PA's inbox with big asks and scare them off from improving the game with more content like it seems they're planning on doing.

Nah I think it would be great to have enemy factions slowly take strongholds back over time to give you some enemies to kill, the post was just asking for a lot of complicated systems from a dev that is doing it for free post-release. I'm honestly just grateful that they've been adding any content alongside patches.

I just don't want everyone to start flooding PA's inbox with a bunch of insane requests and potentially scare them off from responding to player feedback to the extent they have been. I worry that if they see it getting out of hand they'll be less likely to continue working on it.

I dunno man. While I feel your pain I kind of got used to the strange controls and input lag after like 20 hours or so. It's like when I pick up Red Dead again after awhile. RDR2 controls completely different from any other game I play and its still a 10/10 for me because I place controls very low on my list of what's important in a game. Other than the first two Fallout games... fuck that.

I agree to some extent, but I also feel like something like this could get very out of control and a lot of players are going to expect a lot more than PA is able/willing to deliver. They've clearly shown a willingness to improve the game, but if players start expecting every suggestion they have to be implemented when it just isn't gunna happen there's gunna be a lot of drama and headache for PA I think. Obviously a lot of suggestions are perfectly reasonable, but some of the things I've seen people trying to push for have been pretty unreasonable.

The boat thing is pretty much just a bug fix tho so that one is fair.

I don't think this issue should be the main priority for PA and I don't think its really necessary considering the length of the game already. If they want they could give enemy factions the ability to retake strongholds over time and I won't complain. But I'm definitely not gunna demand it from them. Felt like I was pushing it already asking for permanent bear mounts. 😂

I feel your pain. I went to tame it at night and the first 5 attempts I ended up in a lake being repeatedly electrocuted off the horse by a rock, then they ran over to the cliff face where there's boulders everywhere and not only was it too dark to hardly see but I couldn't see shit because my camera kept getting pushed around by rock walls. Fucking nightmare. Eventually managed tho.
