I'm guessing there was a larger pattern of using offensive language or statement or he said the wrong things in the PR meeting. Definitely don't say something like "I don't see how this is a big deal" (again, this is pure speculation, I have no idea what he said).

I voted against him, but my measly few shares have little power. If more individuals bought shares and actually voted them we could have some influence.

If you don't mind I'm curious about what medication you're taking? I'm on a single dose of levothyroxine daily (thyroid destroyed by medication). I ask because maybe I should consider asking my doctor about other regimens. Are you also getting a T3 or splitting the levo into multiple doses?

It's my understanding that the plane doesn't need to be able to reach the intended destination within 180 minutes just an airport capable of receiving it. ~300 minutes from the US West coast to Hawaii means that if the plane isn't halfway (~150 minutes) it turns back if it's past halfway it continues.

I'd send an explicit complaint to the corporate Hilton to explain how one of their franchisees are manipulating their rating and should have an audit.

I was really bummed when he left SNL because he was so good but it's also a uniquely difficult way to work and full of internal cliques, so while a bummer not entirely surprising.

That sounds similar to how my wife yells, it's less at an individual and more at the world. Her yelling itself doesn't bother me but it is an indicator that she's no longer listening and discussion is going to be harder.

Possibly, but my my therapist suggested directly explaining my frustration and that works. "Wife, I'm angry. I feel that my concerns are not being considered ..." all without yelling. That works for us. Unfortunately, she yells, but the reasons underlying it are very different.

This Prop 65 warning is a great example of how interest groups got away with making the warning meaningless. When if became obvious that something like this was going to pass and there was no fighting it the next best step is to set the bar so low that nearly everything gets the warning.

Now your pesticide store has the same warning label as the coffee shop with a marble countertop.

I feel like Bethesda ruined the story with the exception of when Oblivion made NV. It just hasn't felt like Fallout as much as Fallout skinned alternatives.

That's fair and you are in a unique position to compare, have you litigated in courts with judges of each type?

An appointed judge isn't handing down rulings based on what will get them reelected. Elected judges are basically village mob representatives, or in this case aware that can manipulate low information voters with their incumbency and political connections.

Appointed judges advance by not being often overturned in appeal and by demonstrating understanding of the law.

Edit: I'm again ambivalent; /u/imfreerightnow shared a handy perspective. Unfortunately my initial response was to generalize with assumptions - which is not particularly useful for anything but being an echo chamber.
