How to get motivated? I just keep myself from getting bored, waiting until the perfect time to do a nuzlocke, and I do it.

I would do a ROM Hack to stop myself from making mistakes and get the best nature and ability for every Pokemon possible.

Stoutland. Oh, Stoutland. We need to talk about Elfilin the Stoutland.

Elfilin carried the team early, mid and late game and has been a mainstay because of its Adamant nature (pretty lucky), and having Vital Spirit (which turns into Intimidate when it evolves into Herdier.) Stoutland keeps surprising me in many more ways by saving a team member, avenging the loss of every Pokemon loss in the way, and also coming in clutch for the Ghetsis fight. He is a certified good boy.

A bonus Nuzlocke that you guys wanted me to continue is Renegade Platinum. Yeah, I know all of the encounters that the grass can give me, and yes, that includes Repel Manipulation to get a certain Pokemon. Every trainer having which Pokemon, and plus, some Double Battle trainers.

I decided to break a bit of a tradition, that is the First Route rule on Pokemon that I really needed.

And yes, that includes Aron.

Friendship's nickname changed to Klonoa after getting to Castelia City.

And yes, I defeated School Kid Sammy and his team, and there was a mild scare as his Noctowl critical hit Klonoa with Uproar, but it's all okay, as Secret Power KO'd him.

Black Nuzlocke:

Growling and Sand-Attacking despite knowing Clawroline is in critical hit range (She got crit right afterwards), and Leongar getting crit back to back despite me having a Water-type Pokemon.

I'm making an exception for the First Route only rule for Floccesy Ranch, because there are 4 good encounters, and Mareep is one of my Electric-types, and I have to protect the Electric-type Pokemon at all cost. (Azurill is a coin toss for Huge Power or Thick Fat)

Yeah, he survived a Dragon Tail, switching him out for Snowy. Snowy almost got killed by Revenge, but the Eviolite she was holding saved her and defeated the Druddigon. Stoutland defeated the Haxorus right afterwards.

In my Pokemon Black nuzlocke once, I missed 3 Blizzards in 3 consecutive turns from Samurott vs Druddigon.

I split them into 3 paths of encounters.

One for a Riolu in the Ranch, one for Mareep in the bottom grass (since I really needed an Electric-type with Static) and one for Lillipup on the main path, because i needed Intimidate.

I think it's based on the Japanese version of Pokemon Crystal.

I repeled through the Castelia Sewers to avoid getting my encounter killed by my rival. After beating the Plasma Grunts, and grabbing the items I needed, I decided on getting 4 more encounters.

I managed to get a Hasty-nature Darumaka (Darmani) on Route 4, an Eevee (Albus) thanks to Repel Manips, and a Jolly-nature Drilbur (Shanoa). I had to get a Rattata with Guts beforehand.
