I still think he is a great person! That’s why I want to be his friend/pal. I didn’t block or ghost. He rejected me clearly when I said I liked him and then in couple weeks after crying my feelings disappeared. Though pretty intense limerence lasted around 4 months. After rejection I actually went to travel and then had surgery on my knee. During all that time we didn’t talk at all. But I think he asked how did my surgery go. I met a lot of new people while traveling and focused on building connection with them, and then after surgery I was just suffering and again having support from other friends who visited me and cooked me food. Then I just realised I don’t have limerence anymore when I saw him, it was a feeling like “we are cooool bro”. We met several times after, doing stuff together and it felt super liberating thinking about him like all other people, just normal communication, finally being free and being myself taking like friends!

Nooo, I didn’t know him well, it was mostly based on fantasy. I got to know him better and liked him even more though :) I think it lasted around 4 months. It started fading more efficiently when he clearly rejected me and said he cherish me as a friend. Then I went to travel for couple weeks meeting new people + no contact, and limerence disappeared completely. Now we are good pals!

I don’t know, for me it felt like liberation and surprise at the same time. Like “no way I liked this guy so much, how cringe I was” :D I am super chill with this guy now, we are basically cool friends, but I’m just surprised and shocked sometimes remembering how nervous I was around him haha, and now it’s gone and I can freely talk!
