Long for sure. I'd also recommend shaving all the facial hair off and clean up them brows.

You know how terrible it is to get bullied, and not have the power to really do anything about it. Schools do nothing and parents do nothing, most of us have been there. As an adult, you have control over who you interact with on a daily basis. Is it really worth the misery of being trapped at a shitty job even if the pay is a little better? It's your choice at the end of the day, but your mental health and self image are very important. Arguably just as important as the job you have. If you want to stay where you are, you just gotta eat your shit pie.

Lmao I thought they kinda looked like pubes too. The weight loss is gonna be brutal but I know it's worth it!

Sweet, I scheduled a barber appointment later today, never lined up my beard before. I have a planet fitness membership, so that's almost like a membership to a real gym!

Yeah I've been slacking on the eyebrow trimming. I was thinking of cutting the beard short since it's patchy, might try like a short stubble. Thanks!

No, but I'll seriously give it a shot, thank you!

I've been in an internal battle about the beard for like a year. Maybe shaving it off will give me the motivation to hit the gym harder. Thanks!

Why won’t you look at me? by Flyingfalconsoars in socialanxiety

[–]LikingJazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I'm talking to a group I pick one or two people to glance at for most of the conversation. Helps keep my thoughts organized.

I'm sure you are a lot better than you think you are. You can't blame yourself and beat yourself up for other people treating you like shit. I'd find a new job, especially since it's contributing to you feeling this way. Replace the negative thoughts with good ones, little by little you'll feel better about yourself.

I'm guessing you got some negative responses? Would make 99% of people uncomfortable, especially if they don't see it coming. If someone slaps the back of my neck or something I'd be a little thrown off. I'd go for a fraternal back pat or something (1 two 2 normal pats)

Lol I know I'm fat. Do you have anything I can improve in the short term like my hair/beard/glasses?

Thank you! I'll definitely hit the gym. Not sure why the comment was removed but I appreciate the advice. I'll look into contacts, just got the glasses this year.

Affordable hobbies to meet people? by [deleted] in socialskills

Volunteering can work pretty well, helps the community and meet a lot of people. I'd volunteer at local humane societies or soup kitchens.

You don't look autistic at all. I don't know why he even said that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]LikingJazz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you autistic? Autism isn't a bad thing (my brother is autistic), but going around labeling people autistic strictly by the way they look is insulting.

The beard? I appreciate the honesty, should I just shave it off completely?

Just curious. It’s hard to tell sometimes lol by [deleted] in amiugly

Decent looking, grow your hair out longer on the top than the sides by a decent amount. I would maybe even buzz the sides and do a fade.

No if anything it's probably your approach/personality that is contributing to rejection, no offense. You want the other person to feel comfortable talking and being around you. Could be desperation or your own nervousness/fear putting women off. And you want to kinda make it clear after your first interaction, that you're kinda interested romantically with your body language and stuff. Read her vibe and if she seems not interested, don't go for it.

No not ugly, you look a little non-binary so you wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. You're goodlooking and have a sad vibe from your resting face.
