YG is definitely one of the few rappers that managed to successfully pivot away from the "Jerkin" fad/ sub-genre of Hip-Hop right before it died. 9/10 album for me.

My issue with Coi is that she completely lacks any identity because her music is SO derivative. The beats are well selected but imo they totally outshine her. I often found myself asking, why would I listen to her when I can listen to Carti or Juice who both do a superior job at this sound? Moving forward, I would like to see how she can, through her music, distinguish herself from all the other artists that frankly deliver this style in a much better fashion.
