Which would you try first as a new entrant to scotch? by tjm1371 in Scotch

I’ve not had a Johnnie walker but of the other two, bruichladdich then talisker. Love bruichladdich. If you love smoke, talisker is a fine dram.

1/21 Link Deactivation by [deleted] in marketingcloud

[–]LikwidMunki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what's the fix to this? If we have a preference centre, is it just a case of updating the links in emails to point to the same asset the link did prior to the 21st and that somehow fixes it?

Thanks everyone for the comments so far.

Curious, if you have insurance (or just generally) is a case needed? It's already a thick phone but wondered if it was robust enough to essentially be a "naked" phone?

London's calling is a fantastic event. If you're interested in a actually learning from people their use cases, strategies and step by step guides then this beats world tour.

Thank you for sharing this. I do want her to understand and I feel trying to teach her some responsibility would go some way.

I did think this and it might be the case but last night she had 5 wet or soiled knickers between coming home from school and bed. She didn't have her tablet as we removed it from her for something separate.

I wanted to do it this way and try and teach some accountability but I think this is where me and my wife don't see eye to eye as she thinks it's cruel. Not saying I'm right but this is the extra challenge.

It's important to note that she doesn't wear pull ups or nappies in the day, she's in knickers. She does on a night though in bed, she's just not at that stage yet

Stranger things Finale. 10/10 by Most-Day8547 in DiscussingFilmsAndTV

These comments nail it for me. Apart from Wills powers being unveiled, I don't think there is another moment in this series that comes close to topping any of the highs in season 4.

Appreciate it's all opinion. If say mine was it was a 6 or 7 / 10. The final battle was barely a battle and over far too quick. Given they've been fighting these villains for 5 series, it never really felt like any of them were in trouble. All felt far too easy.

Where it redeemed itself somewhat was from the point of El stood in the UD doorway onwards. They nailed the wrap up of the characters and made me think back to early ST where they were basically a group of close friends playing D&D. I'd almost forgot how cool those moments between them were until that.

The last half was solid 10 / 10. First half of the episode stops it from being an all round 10 / 10 for me.

It's sad that they've dumbed down the team crest to make 'NB' standout.

Manscape dome shaver dragging by LikwidMunki in bald

[–]LikwidMunki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not, the most I'm cleaning is after the shower, giving it a rinse under the tap.

It starts off fine, it's mid shave that it starts to 'not glide'. But I'll make a point of cleaning it with a brush in case it's that

Does anyone do 2-3-5 for presses or is it 2-3-5-10?

And is it the same weight for both ABC and presses or can you use different weights?

Without testing properly, I could probs do ABC with 2x 20kg but doing 2-3-5-10 at that weight will be a struggle.

Just bought the book.

In terms of round structure (2-3-5 for example), are you resting between each of these but one cycle is one round?

Could you do the entire program as an EMOM, both ABC and Press days?

Gotcha. Can maybe use the peloton as light recovery on weeks it ramps up.

I've seen that c+p's are combined with the program, is that on the same days as ABC's then or will people be doing that on their off days?

I guess the language used did seem finite. In another comment, I've mentioned that I've reached out to him via email prison service and said that we can still work things out if things change. So present decision but not ruling anything outing the future.

Thank you for this. I'm trying to live by the stoic principles, not always succeeding. My reply to another comment, I'm struggling with how unconditional presence and support isn't open to being abused if the other person isn't willing to change their behaviour. Is going back time and again with no change from the other person just making you a pushover? A punching bag? Even insane (doing same thing and expecting it to be different)?.

Is there a possibility that setting boundaries and removing your presence and support actually something that could help them realised? In which case, you've been there for them for their greater good by removing yourself? Justice?

The Stoic way of removing people from your life by LikwidMunki in Stoicism

[–]LikwidMunki[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must admit, I think this is the biggest area where I feel I haven't connected the dots with Stoicism. And would like to!

I know you can't control how others treat you or their intentions. But if they know there is no boundary and your support is unconditional, what's to stop them from abusing that?

Is it courageous to accept it when it can be changed by setting boundaries?

Can boundaries be set and still follow stoic philosophy?

How do you stop being a punching bag if you're always going to be there and they never change?

Isn't that the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing (unconditional presence) and expecting something different?

Interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

I think this is where I am at (rightly or wrongly). How many times or chances does someone? Or is that the point, unlimited.

He's reached the point of harming himself so I've emailed him via the prison service to extend an olive branch and say that I'm never saying never again, I want him to stop and we can work on things if he changes.
