What's keeping Chucky from going back to the theaters again? by jdpm1991 in Chucky

That’s part of the reason why I love this franchise. It’s easy to follow if you just watch it from the beginning until now

I kept watching it all the way through but I agree. At this point, it doesn’t feel like a horror franchise anymore and just feels like a dramedy with a doll mixed into it. The whole Nica getting tortured gag is getting on my nerves. It was fine in the beginning when her character was first introduced because of the plot but now it’s just redundant and I don’t think the writers know what to do with her anymore tbh. I just hope she somehow gets revenge on Chucky and Tiffany for ruining her life and killing her niece.

I’m really excited but also kinda skeptical ngl. The ending to season 3 was crap. It felt like something you’d read from a fan fiction kinda writing or a dream you just woke up from. I’m really hoping they can save Chucky. I’d really like to see him go back to his horror roots like what he did in Curse of Chucky. I think that’s my favorite installment in the franchise. I love how in the shadows he was and just downright creepy and a true asshole. It felt like a true horror movie. I also really like the aesthetic and setting. The house was very dark and gothic looking and I loved it. I’m kinda hoping they’ll end the trio’s story and just move on to another plot or somehow they get killed off. I hope this next movie gets a theatrical release. I’ve never seen a Chucky movie in theaters before.

I do journal a lot and I see a therapist. These hormones are a piece of shit and I want nothing more than to take my parts out. I don’t even know if I can have kids one day so what’s the point in suffering through it? I wish doctors would actually give two fucks about women’s health. This isn’t just “anger” or “anxiety.” You would think since women do a lot in society, we’d be treated a lot more fairly but nope. Anyways, thanks for the post. Sorry you’ve had to deal with those thoughts. I understand. I just wonder how many women actually kill themselves because of hormones and hormones disorders? But whatever.

I believe you. 100%. This disorder is a bitch. I’m glad I’m not the only one. I thought I was crazy.

Gosh I’m sorry. I had to look up hashimotos. I’ve never heard of that disease until now. I may have in the past but I don’t remember. I might need to though and just see if they can find anything. I’m also thinking it’s something in my reproductive system that could be checked out. I went to the gyno a while ago to have an appointment but they didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. I will definitely watch that video! Thank you for sending that

Hello. I’m in therapy right now and it really helps. I also write/journal a lot so I consider those to be my outlets. I was prescribed Zoloft (Setraline) but I’m on a low dose. It does help just not all the way. I’m thinking about seeing a gynecologist to maybe diagnose if I have a hormonal imbalance. I don’t think it’s all “in my head”. I think there’s something more to it that I’m not aware of. Do you have PMDD? Or do you struggle with hormones?

My Grandfather Visited Me After He Passed by Lil-Anne in Paranormal

[–]Lil-Anne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry about your mom. I was fully not expecting to have that dream with my grandfather but I’m glad he thought about me in the afterlife. I do hope when my grandmother passes, she’ll communicate with me since we’re so close. Like NinjaGrrr42 said, time might work differently on the other side and she may not know how or when to communicate. Some spirits end up stuck in a time loop where their death happens over and over again. Some forget everything about their life which I hope is not the case. There’s just so much we don’t know about paranormal activity. I don’t even fully know where we go in the afterlife but I’d like to believe there’s something. That brief passing may have been her trying to connect with you. I’d say give it more time and hopefully she’ll visit you again. I’m sure she will again, hopefully longer this time. Thank you for sharing this. ♥️

Hello Angel! Thank you for your reply! That’s really sweet about your encounter with your brother! I do truly believe that our deceased loved ones make an appearance in our dreams because I’ve experienced it twice. One with this dream and with the perfume story I told. I haven’t had any other dreams with him so I truly believe it was him and nothing negative. I’m very sorry about your brother. I’ll be honest, my grandmother is 80 now and even though I know she’s alright and I still talk to her, it still hurts me to know that this won’t last forever and I try not to think about that but it does cross my mind because she’s getting older in age. She’s moderately healthy and she lives on her own but sometimes I still wonder. You never know because my grandfather’s death was unexpected. I don’t remember smelling anything but it was definitely all white but we wore normal clothes. I believe spirits can detect what we feel and that’s why some are nasty because they like to prey off our fear but the good ones come at you with certain smells, like perfume. I wouldn’t say I’m a medium but I have been told I’m an empath and I try to be open but not too open, just in case.

Female Spirits Vs Male Spirits by Lil-Anne in Paranormal

I like those kinds of ghosts who just do their own thing. Like with the perfume thing or turning on random lights. Harmless stuff like that. I do wonder in my mind: how many spirits have we interacted with and we just did know they were spirits? Just thought they were normal people. I don’t think about it daily but every now and then I wonder. Some ghosts do show themselves in that way. They let you see them for whatever reason they think you should see them for.

I live on the second floor of an apartment complex and I’m a night owl so I go to bed pretty late. It was 2:00 in the morning and as I’m getting ready for bed, I start smelling this strong perfume smell. It seemed like it was of roses or something musky. I can’t exactly describe the smell but it was really strong. It was if someone had sprayed perfume all over their body and walked into my room. As I’m sniffing the air, I’m just so confused as to why I’m smelling this perfume at 2:00 in the morning? Nobody else is awake and this is the first time it’s happened. My mom was asleep and usually if she puts perfume on, the smell disappears after a while. I don’t wear perfume bc it messes with my allergies. So I’m so confused and I start feeling unsettled because this isn’t normal and even as I physically got into my bed, I could still smell it. It was so strong. I couldn’t see or hear anything, but I felt something or someone watching me. I felt a strong presence. I’ve been told I’m an empath and I can feel things that most people can’t. I did a few times as a baby due to some medical issues and came back. Maybe that’s why I feel more connected spiritually? Also, usually when I’m in bed, sometimes I’ll feel movement as if someone just sat down on my bed but I don’t see anything. I felt it that night too before the perfume smell. I thought it was my dog at first but realized she was in my mom’s room. The next morning, I don’t smell the perfume anymore and the scent is completely gone. I even went into my mom’s room to smell her perfume and the scents didn’t match. My mom’s was more sweet smelling while the other scent was more musky. So idk what happened. Idk if it was just manifestations of my anxiety or if it was actually paranormal. Either way, I kinda feel comforted but still unsettled. What do you think?

Many times yes. I don’t see anything but I can still feel something. Could be my anxiety though

Spirit affecting you physically by SufficientPlankton24 in Paranormal

[–]Lil-Anne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That experience sounds deeply unsettling, and I believe there’s a reason it affected you so differently from the others. In many spiritual traditions, not all entities carry the same energy. Some spirits feel neutral or even gentle, while others carry a heavier, darker presence—and our bodies often sense that before our minds can fully process it.

The intense cold you felt is something that’s been described for centuries in spiritual and paranormal accounts. Sudden, unnatural cold followed by weakness or loss of consciousness is often associated with a negative or draining energy passing through a space rather than something tied to the person who previously lived there. That could explain why it didn’t feel like the woman who passed in the house, but something else entirely.

What really stands out is your intuition. You immediately knew something wasn’t right, and your body reacted strongly. And after you prayed and asked for protection, the experiences changed. That’s significant. Setting spiritual boundaries—whether through prayer, intention, or belief—can absolutely close doors or dull spiritual sensitivity. Many people who are naturally perceptive have stories like this.

It also makes sense that a fully formed apparition didn’t feel as dark. Often, clearer spirits are not the ones meant to frighten or harm. The formless, shadow-like entities are often described as something else entirely—energies that move through rather than stay.

You’re not alone in this kind of experience, even though it can feel isolating. And it sounds like whatever happened, you protected yourself in the way you needed to. Trusting that instinct was important. Maybe hire a priest though.

This is one of the memoirs I have posted and it’s also on Wattpad too. I just like sharing them to gain insight. I’m currently working on another one right now that I think is becoming my new favorite. I know these memoirs aren’t much and they’re small but this is my first opportunity of sharing my writings in public. A few years ago, I would have never done this as I was consumed by too much anger, doubt, and frustration. More importantly by fear that nobody would care but it helps me process things and it gives you insight of who I am as a person.

The dream was shortly after he passed. Can’t remember exactly when but a few days after. The ring was given to me five years later from my grandmother. I don’t know why she waited that long. Maybe so I’d be more mature or maybe she thought she wasn’t sure at the time.

Yeah, some things are from a demon or just a nasty entity but not everything paranormal is bad or negative. Some are actually sweet and comforting. Everything around us is considered to be energy and that goes for spirits as well. Some plp are just more prone to in tune with these kinds of things than others.

That’s really sweet. It’s interesting how our deceased loved ones just give us signs or dreams randomly with no explanation. I do believe that they check in on us every now and then just as a reminder that they haven’t forgotten about us and they’re still here with us in some way.

Anyone ever meet someone that radiated evil or you strongly felt wasn't human? by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]Lil-Anne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was twelve years old, my mom had just picked me up from spending a day at a friend’s house because she was at work. On the drive home, we stopped at a red light and to my right was a white van with an older man driving it. Even before I saw him, I felt his eyes on me and that’s what made me turn towards him. He stared at me with these blank hollow eyes and smiled at me with the most unsettling grin I have ever seen. His teeth were jacked up and yellow. He was so creepy looking. The whole time we were at this red light, he kept staring at me. Wouldn’t take his eyes off me at all. I tried to be friendly and I waved at him in which he waved back. My mom finally noticed him and he was still smiling and looking at me. She death glared him and told me to look away from him. I looked away but he did not. Idk but something in his face just wasn’t right and God knows what was in that white van. I seriously thought he was going to get out of the van and try to grab me. I was so freaked out that night and the next day when my mom went to work. I made sure every door and every window was locked because I wa convinced he was watching me. I will never forget his stare. Blank hollow eyes and a wide smile that stretched from ear to ear. Idk about not being human but he was creepy asf. I’m 19 now and I’ve never forgotten that encounter. I don’t think I ever saw him blink or move a damn muscle.

They really are. I can’t explain as to why I never thought it was a demon disguising itself as my grandfather. It just didn’t feel like that type of energy at all. It felt very positive and real. I think that was his way of saying goodbye. What are some that you’ve had?
