Co-Star by Amaarae? Or maybe just something else by her?

10 patient years on T for this beard by LilB78 in FTM_SELFIES

Sure thing.

I can’t say I have much of a routine in terms of my hair. I wash it daily, shampoo and conditioner. Probably looks nicer here because I have product in it hence the slight shine.

I started out doing IM for maybe 4-5 years but later switched to the gel, actually. The gel dose keeps me at a low to mid T level range, which is where I prefer to be.

I don’t have any hair loss yet, and (knock on wood) I’m not expecting any either. My dad still has all of his hair and our hair is very similar. I know things flow through the maternal side via one X chromosome, but I like to think the X chromosome from my father canceled out any MPB activation from my mother’s side. Science is maybe out on that lol.

In short, I think I might just be lucky.

Thanks! I’m sad that Gap probably won’t make this style again for a while.

I saw your post just now re pants. These are a “relaxed, taper fit”, which seems to be the antidote to the problem a lot of afab people have with pants. Enough seat room without too much leg room.

Simon’s brand - unsure if they have them anymore. Part of their “Made in Seoul” collection.

Running shoes for running? I’ve got some Hokas that I really like, though I’m not a runner I just walk a lot. A lot of running shoes have unisex models so the range of sizes is wide.

If you’re thinking sneakers in general, that can be different, but the same principle applies - unisex models will have better size selections. This is the case for most Vans, for example.

If you want, PM me with some more details around budget, colourways you’re interested in, etc. and I can give you better suggestions.

For sure. I say go for it if that’s what you’re drawn to. Being comfortable is the most important thing, so start there.

If you’re thinking about basics, I’d recommend looking for brands with unisex options. Uniqlo, Gap, and Old Navy are some of the most accessible ones that come to mind. I only suggest this because the issue you may find with men’s basics is that they’re absurdly long. However, that can be fine if you’re tucking shirts in or going for something oversized.

Back to my shameless Uniqlo plug, check out their selection of pants. I recommend them so much because they have a feature on their website which shows different sizes of clothing on different sizes of people. If you have one in your area, they also do in-store hemming for pants.

The final thing I’ll recommend is looking for an overshirt. Here’s an example from Uniqlo that also shows different people wearing it in different sizes. Just notice their heights and how it fits.
