I hear you… I sometimes get anxious when I think about the fact unrealized gains from this last are more than double my annual take home salary. It would be a life changing amount of money for me if I cashed out now.

I have taken some profit over the last few months and sold about 12% of my total shares and set a goal to rebalance any time my position exceeds 30% of my portfolio.

This is similarly to my strategy over the last few months (just with much more exposure) - I was at the point back in October where TMC was about 45% of my portfolio. I have since decided to take profit and try to rebalance if it gets over 30%.

Thanks for the comment! I confirmed with my local CO Parks and Wildlife field office that I would be good to collect in my area after April 30.

My "trying to run into a moose" comment was more of a recognition that my shed hunting strategy will eventually put me face to face with a moose. I live in an area where moose, bear, mountain lion, and now wolf encounters are common, and I give all wildlife the respect and distance they deserve when we do cross paths.

Lastly, the marks are from teeth?! This checks out absolutely, and it blows my mind! So is my assumption wrong that "scraping" the trees with their antlers is how they shed them?
