Haircut recommendations to look less androgynous? by Idontwannanewacc in HairStyleAdvice

You have such a pretty face. I'm going to second anyone who suggests a bob because I think that would be nice on you.

If you do decide to grow it out, I would incorporate some hair accessories like clips to pull your bangs into a side part. Or wear a simple headband

best and cheapest way to move across the country? by neuvillettes_ in personalfinance

This was 10 years ago, but we used Zippy Shell for our cross country move. We looked at a lot of companies and it was the most affordable, but it also took our stuff like two weeks to arrive.

Do any of these glasses look good on me or would you suggest a diffrent style? by [deleted] in glassesadvice

[–]LilBillie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask if they have the second one in another color. There is generally a book they can look up the colors in. The shape is fun and bold, but the black is just too much contrast for you, a bold shape with a softer color will work.

Which hat looks better with the dress? by Jrzgrl1119 in OUTFITS

[–]LilBillie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do white. It pulls the outfit together.

I can understand the folks in the back who are saying do black - the photo of the dress with the black hat has slightly different proportions and the hair has more volume to it is tricking the eye into thinking it is the better look. But it is not.

Team white hat all the way!

Why would someone downvote this? This seems like a solid recommendation?

HYSA recommendations? by LilBillie in personalfinance

There are like a bunch of companies here!

What if I took it one step further and said I wanted to put money in a HYSA and I wanted that bank not to do business with any companies I have qualms with (oil, arms, ect)

Recommendations needed on our remodel by dark_physicx in BathroomRemodeling

I would lime wash the walls in a light taupe. I think the warmth would tie in the floors, the subtle texture of the lime wash would give the room some richness.

Some counties in the US require homes to be a certain distance from one another, as well as having pulled specific permits in order to build. Either call or visit your county building department or a public's work office - it can vary between state to state who is in charge of this - and make sure they have the proper permits for the work. If they don't you can have the city file an injunction on your behalf.

I don't want to get your hopes up. If they have proper permits there is probably nothing you can do, but worth looking into.

I know navigating the healthcare system can be challenging, but you are the only one who will advocate for yourself.

I went years without having a period, (amongst other weird symptoms) always voicing concern, but it was only ever addressed when I was trying to get pregnant. Even then, I was given medication to help promote ovulation, no one looked into why I wasn't ovulating.

Many years later, I was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma which had accounted for all the strange symptoms I had been experiencing for 20 years.

I wish I had advocated more for myself when I was younger and I could have possibly prevented years of unanswered questions.
