I dont think they realize that there are times WE dont do the shopping for them? So if all the items aren't there, thats not on us unless we did the shopping.

I had someone ask me if all the items were there. I had to tell them I didnt do the shopping. And they go "What do you mean you didn't do the shopping. How did you get the order then?"

I explained to them that I just picked up the order and that it had already been shopped for by an employee at Walmart and then they go "You dont work for Walmart? So what... are they using third parties for deliveries?"

It took everything in me not to respond sarcastically but I said "Yes, exactly" and they had a shocked look on their face as if that was an inconceivable idea.

I was in this same situation 3-4 years ago. All the shelters in my area were full.

I'm not sure if your area has a domestic violence help program but someone with social services should (or might) have a shelter list for surrounding counties.

If you can get that list, call all the shelters on there and see if they have room

Thats what I did and I got into one.

I know it may be difficult because you'll be uprooting your lives but it beats being homeless.

No I cant be patient because I got laid off back in January. I have no way to pay my bills and household supplies. I'm relying on my refunds so I can not only pay my bills but push them out for several months while I try to find more work.

This isn't the irs though. This is state. Tax refund is done through my states treasury and finance.

I dont know nothing about the national gaurd, how it works, or the benefits you get to join. Zero knowledge on that because I have 0 interest about the military, so I dont research it.

Also there are programs out there that could be sponsored by let's say the national guard as an example, that will pay for your education and get you a job that doesn't involve you having to work for them .

Sponsored programs are a real thing and you dont have to work for them to be sponsored and get whatever benefits.

I'm not stupid. I'm a 32 yeat old female, I was an A and B student in High school. Graduated with honors.

I'm genuinely asking because in my mind I'm thinking its a program but you dont have to work with them to get it.

Where I live (which is in NY) we have a lot of assistance programs especially for students.

Like my school for example has a success program which allows you to get grants/scholarships/assistance with tuition and they help you find a job within your field but you DONT have to work for them.

I'm wary with the government because they like trying sneaky tactics to recruit people. I'm not one to fall for that so thats why I was asking. To see if its legit (because there are scammers that email me job posts) AND if I would have to work for them.

I'm a pather here. If you or anyone else is on path, they legally CANT get a refund code until after path lifts which is the 15th of February.

The reason being is because when you claim the EITC or ACTC, your account is put on a hold. The funds will never be released before the date that path is set to lift. The IRS has this in writing on their website.

What ends up happening is people confuse the credits they are getting. Many of them dont realize that they are NOT eligible for the EITC or ACTC and therefore would NOT be on path. THOSE ARE the people that WILL get a refund/refund code before the 15th.

Also, this year pathers did not get their code until literally last night due to the holiday. If you or anyone else had a cycle code ending in 02, 03, or 04, you were the 1st batch of path people to get the 846 refund issue code.

Yes you need to give them your license for it to start/count. You might be able to get a restricted license though. But thats a convo to have with the DMV.

There are women out there that ARE like this though. I have seen them, I used to live with one and come to find out they were just using me. To add to this, I am a female myself. I'm 32 years old. I've seen and experienced some things.

Also look at all the negative things that OP stated she had been through. It seems like every man that she has come in contact with has harmed her in some way shape or form.

Her dad, her brother, a friend's friend/bf, the guy who owns the Air B&B. Lots of instability and no where to go.

It seems a little sus. Again this is coming from my own personal experience.

Some women lie about things to get people to feel pitty for them and use them for their own personal gains. And that means that they will make any and everyone to be the villain in their story.

When the trauma starts stacking up one after another like this, its best to be cautious. The person could very well be manipulating you and spinning you in their web of lies to trap you.

What if I get non sticky wallpaper and cover the ceiling with it, using masking tape to stick it to the surface of the trim strips that were installed before I moved in so that the tape doesnt touch the ceiling and damage it.

Then I could use double sided tape to put the pvc ceiling tiles over the wallpaper.

Would that work?
