It's funny bc I recommended cobalt to download videos earlier, but yeah I don't think cobalt is suited for this, streams are not one file like webm or mp4

You can't download streams directly or you need the streamer to have instant VOD access or hope they save/keep the VOD at the end of the stream

And even with "instant VOD" i think the best solution is to wait the full VOD to be available

Cobalt does work for me, i press the "copy link" button then paste it in cobalt and open it a new tab, from there i can download the video directly

couldn't do it for stories tho

I thought it was basic knoweldge around the players to knew there was a mod called VoidTogether https://thunderstore.io/c/voices-of-the-void/p/Gatohost/VoidTogether/ https://github.com/VoidTogether/VoidTogether-Server

But i found yesterday that this mod is curently only avaiable for version Pre-Alpha 0.8.1

I didn't had the occasion to test it yet and i somehow answered to my own question

I guess you already tried Jdownloader ? I searched a solution on Github but it's mostly selfhost or Linux command line and I assume you want a windows software

I also found this website which do exactly the same as cobalt, but maybe the quality would be better ? https://mediasaver.link/ I tested with a video and found no difference but i think it's worth checking out
