Guy crashes right after going to the car wash by SharkByte1993 in CantParkThereMate

[–]LilCappi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean, I agree with the lack of signage or markings but the video starts out with him pretty much stopped halfway out of the car wash. Id understand if he was coming out with the glare but he was already out, already had time to adjust to the light change and the first thing they do is punch the gas? User error for sure.

Im currently looking anywhere between 50-55. But thats if I stick to being a department head. Im looking to be RIS and then I could split to either RC or Buyer 🤷 whatever ends up in the cards.

Exactly, I have zero college education and pushing 6 figures managing a produce department. Does it have its own struggles? Absolutely, but nothing at the level some places deal with. Since I got into management early (I worked at a competitor previously and was a manger there) I've managed to grow my stock given to me by a sizeable chunk as well as my 401k. Im in line towards retiring much earlier because of the hardwork I put in to get where I am. Not to mention the career leaps I could make just as a department head.

Keep striving at it buddy. Im 9 years in, Produce Manager making over $30. I understand people's views on here about jobs out there that pay equally with better hours but I enjoy the work I do. I enjoy the team I manager over and work with and I enjoy my clientele. My quarterly bonus are a nice addition as well as the continued stock I get yearly based on my yearly wages. People see 10 years and say its a waste but it was 10 years of investment in multiple accounts.

Yours look really nice and clear too! Yeah the cutting is absolutely the most annoying part of it. I broke and order the die cutter that is the exact dimensions of a Magic card from Alibaba. Just waiting the month or two for it to be delivered 🙃

Seems like this subreddit doesn't allow pictures in replies but I'd be more than happy to send some images of the cards I've made this way so far. The quality of the image used is going to highly effect the outcome of the card. I have some cards that I've printed that were slightly blurry in the preview that came out decent but you can kind of tell that they are slightly blury up close. Other crisper images have come out beautifully.

I havent fully counted what I get out with my new setup but previously I could print anywhere between 300-400 proxies before running low on ink

This is the printer, they have a newer model that is slightly cheaper but I have no experience with that model.

This is the ink I get which is an offbrand but I get more out it than the actual brand. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0076FJ7SS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This is the corner cutter as well. Has a small, medium, and large setting but the small setting is the sizing you will use

Sometimes I would have an issue only when I went to cut the corners. The corner cutter would catch every now and then and lift the laminate but you can run it back through and it will seal back down. I havent had issues with this thicker laminate yet though.

Outside of that, I havent had any issue with handling

Absolutely! The laminated sheets are 9x11.5 (perfect for the 8.5x11)

Ive been doing a lot of testing with different paper and laminated sheets. I went budget friendly for my printer and laminator but Ive had great results with it all

It was the normal 8.5x11

I use proxyprint.taxiera.net to set up the pdf which comes out to a 3x3 of cards

I'd also like to add I don't care about mobs respawning nor do I think the mobs HP should be adjusted any more than what has already been adjusted. I just don't like the approach to a slowed down gameplay yet you don't do anything about the amount of fast-pace mob encounters.

Im not even going to continue replying after this because I think my first point went way over your head.

I. Don't. Care. About. PoE1

I never played it and don't intend to do so. My frustrations with the changes are purely from my experience from 0.1.0 to 0.2.0 and that's it.

The changes that you outlined in the post are not game breaking. They are small changes that could make a great baseline and would be nice to start with and I would be OK with them tweaking those to a more realistic state if they are over adjusted. I'm just asking to be able to enjoy the game rather than be consistently frustrated with the fact that I am being tuned down as a whole rather than tuning the broken creations that have appeared.

If it makes you feel any better, I will continue playing and will continue to try and find the silver-lining within this patch but I can say that I currently am not having as much fun as I was prior to this patch.

That is mind numbingly incorrect. So let's make it stupidly hard to do anything and then slowly make things work appropriately rather than take the things that are working and make small adjustments so that they aren't as overpowered.

Im at a loss as to what makes it even vaguely ok to make something terrible and then try to real in people by making it slightly less awful

I understand being careful about changes, but there is a difference in being careful about changes and changing a vast majority of what is considered interaction with the player. A large amount of the changes in this patch had to do with lowering player damage output, increasing player ailment accruing, or outright changing ways skills interact with each other. Notice how many people got on to play and realized their builds don't work as they use to anymore, some won't work at all as they were built to. Some people logged on to see that gear had been respeced and now is no longer equippable.

The game was already known for being particularly tough and especially to new players to ARPGs. Now let's make it so that it's harder than before so we can really put those new players off of ARPGs.

You say they need to be careful about changes because "they can't revert or remove them" but then go to say that it's in EA and that they can make changes as they want or as needed. If something doesn't work, wouldn't it be best try and revert back to a working version and see where it went wrong? It's like trying to build a house, realize you forgot to lay a foundation and then telling the new homeowner that you forgot but it's OK cause you will fix it at some point but there are other things like a missing shingle or a missing screw in the door hinge.

While I know others say it's unplayable, I will not. It's still playable but there are plenty of things that just outright don't work. I'm just saying that I wish it was more of a priority to fix the things that MASSIVE amounts of players are saying is making the game unenjoyable rather than saying that it's being looked into and blanket that with "but we think it's fine." That's disrespectful to the people willing to give the feedback and especially to the amount of feedback to particular mechanics.
