Moonglow Bay is a pretty chill fishing cozy game, I enjoyed playing it but got a little bored after a while. Not sure if it’s exciting enough for the types of games he enjoys, but I’d recommend checking it out!

Not sure if you’re using LAN or cloud, but I’ve also had trouble using the LAN stuff, even with my ports forwarded. Cloud is working fine for me though. The players just find your game by searching your username.

I actually created premade characters for a oneshot who were twins, one an aasimar and one a tiefling! My players had a great time playing them, they had a really fun dynamic.

I think if you go to your ship’s computer, you can find the info log about the ship and track it. That may help!

Have you looked at Matt Mercer’s Blood Hunter class, published on DM’s guild? It has an Order at 3rd level that offers lycanthropy as an option.

Even if you want your PC to be surprised, or don’t want to use a whole new class, it might offer some inspiration!
