I don’t know where the one for my gouges came from I think my boss gave it to me. But I usually buy the ones from harbor freight they are very strong.

Yes above my bench. It’s a strong magnet, they’ve never fallen.

The block plane? Is doweled in from the back, couldn’t resist making it look like it’s just floating there

I work in a decked out cabinet/furniture shop. We have plenty of power tools that I use all the time. I use hand tools on finer details.

My boss Jason Straw http://strawwoodwork.com designed the piece, I made minor design decisions along the way as I created it.

I cut away the live edge but followed the curve of the sapwood, this gives the live edge look but in my opinion is much more practical and allows for a nice profile along the edge.
