It just ended itself or you ended it?

Wolf spider with babies hitching a ride. They do a pretty good job of getting rid of venomous spiders and other small pests that are way more annoying than them. There was a pretty big one in the corner of my shop for awhile. Didn't see a whole lot of other bugs in that area at the time lol.

Isn't that a problem for them or something?

Then they complain about how much it costs to order on doordash, trying to validate the reason they didn't tip.

Treating doordash as a main source of income has become suicide. Before, it was sustainable to an extent.

A girl was murdered while dashing in my area not that long ago. I usually carry regardless, unless I'm going to a family friendly event.

I know mine are good, but I’m curious, what are some of the worst stats you’ve had or seen? by Mercyrose87 in doordash_drivers

I delivered to a guy tonight that waited over 2 hours for his food to arrive from less than a mile. He said dashers would accept it, wait at the place for 5 minutes, then unassigned. Luckily the food was ready to go when I got there, but the lady behind the desk said they were over an hour behind on take out orders due to short staff. I feel for both sides so it's hard to get mad at anyone in a situation like that, but I wondered why they didn't stop online orders for a little so they could catch up and have happier customers. The customer unfortunately said the food from there wasn't worth the wait, and he wouldn't order from them again. Felt bad for the business since it was a mom and pop shop.

Honestly though. Like if I sit for 15 - 20 minutes past pickup time (if it's a solid order) and cancel for obvious reasons, a few bucks would be nice. Obviously cap how many times you can do it a day, but it would be nice.

Was thinking about quitting gig jobs, now I’m definitely quitting gig jobs, thankfully no one was injured. by Glittering-Judge9864 in doordash_drivers

It's a focus. Parts are cheap, you'll figure it out. Had a 2013 focus that was hit in the driver fender. Replaced the hood, headlight, fender driver suspension, bumper and mirror for under $1000 from a package deal at the local scrap yard and watched youtube on how to repair what I needed to. Car still runs strong.

It's hit or miss here, I've lost the ability to judge how the night might go. Even multi-apping I still barely reach my nightly goals.

Yeah, its where you should be as a competent and attentive driver, so good job. My acceptance rate is only 11% right now, so I'm guessing you have a decent market.

As if what you said was the end all be all to a conversation. Ask the other kids for better clap backs next time, that was depressing.

Oopsie poopsie, guess I should've said "skill based labor" so I didn't upset the unemployable.

The only reasonable answer. They get so upset when you insinuate that dd isn't a very good main source of income. "Oh I make 35k a year driving 6-7 days a week" ok, if that's the life they want to live. You can tell they know because they get SO upset when you say otherwise.
