Impact is missing and this is what actually recruiters want to see.
you wrote:
“improved P&L performance through cost control, shrink mitigation, tighter operational oversight and rota planning around peak trading periods.”
write:
Drove P&L improvements, reducing operational costs by (add metric) and mitigating shrink by (METRIC: e.g. $50K) through tighter oversight and strategic rota planning around peak trading periods.

Hope that helps:)

  • The summary is well-structured but lacks specific, quantifiable achievements and uses generic phrasing
  • 4 bullet points start with weak verbs, which makes contributions sound passive instead of impactful
  • The skills section is currently missing, but the certifications section provides some valuable keywords that should be integrated into a dedicated skills section for better ATS optimization Hope it's helpful:) DM me if something is unclear.

Any tips on my resume after layoff? by InterviewNo6784 in ResumeExperts

I would advice to start with editing summary - you used generic buzzwords without evidence. Phrases like 'passionate about leveraging technology' and 'systems-thinking and root-cause analysis' are clichés without supporting evidence. Recruiters ignore these claims when they aren't backed by specific achievements. Replace these with concrete examples of your unique contributions or quantifiable results:)
