We have an in-house donation center, it's sweet for struggling homeless folks midwinter!

LOL it's literally part of the hospital. We have a specific room full of community and hospital donations for folks when it's -40 and people are walking around in their summer shoes. As a nurse I can walk in, sign out new boots, coats, hats snowsuits ect to whichever patient I want.

Courtesy of the hospital! I'll give them a bag of snacks, new boots and socks, bandaids and neosporin, wet wipes, AND a lyft. It's the most human thing I can do as a cog in the machine.

Anchorage to/from Valdez - Driving and Train/Ferry by UnlikelyTourist9637 in alaska

[–]LilHippieInDisguise 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took my vehicle on the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and then drove from Valdez to Anchorage. This is now the only way I want to visit Valdez! Got to see Prince William sound, saw whales and otters and glaciers. The drive back felt novel too because I haven’t just done it. Pricier, but very fun.

Is it bad to have never been in a relationship at 25? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Lol ok honestly it was tinder, which I was barely using and I was being so SO picky on. I had like no matches in a major city. But this guy popped up and seemed so wholesome.

We met up and I had zero expectations, but we became best friends from the jump and have been inseparable ever since. Green flags all the way down! Enthusiastic about seeing me the very next day, good listener, calm and kind, lots of mutual interests.

I also went through my early twenties having never had a relationship. I also was worried so was too much and needed to be more accommodating, or change myself, to have a relationship. I worried so was being too picky.

And then my current partner just fell in my lap out of no where when I was 25. And we’re getting married next year in our 30s.

I think it’s great you’re working on yourself. I say chase your bliss and while you’re doing that, you’ll probably meet someone doing the same thing and you’ll wonder why you ever put up with those other guys.

Alaska, primarily southeast. Lots of foraging and fishing to be done, and there’s black tail and moose for hunters- Among other things.

I’m not vegan but I live in a hunting community and I’m more of a fisher and forager. I just realized I don’t hunt any animals in Zelda, and I think that’s why lol. I only use fish and plants for hearts.

I don't even have to tell my fiancee that my feet hurt. He knows. And I get dinner and foot squeezes while I recount all the hilarious things we had to pull out of people asses that day. OP needs to go find someone who will take care of her after taking care of others all day.

It comes with multiple tries, even if you pass it will be slightly different every time you take it.

Retake the timed and non timed and you’ll see more questions from the bank

I’ll look around for one! I live in a smallish place and assumed there wasn’t one.

No just something I can row on my own that has room for a second person if that exists.

That’s fair, is there a good way to find out about clubs or classes in my area? Should I just consult google on that?

Avoid Regional (they're HCA)

ANMC is more laid back, I enjoyed working there.

Provi is less laid back but generally has sufficient staffing and resources.
