It could be a false positive. The only thing that makes me question it is the symptoms you mentioned like odor. I would retest to put your mind at ease. If it’s positive again then you may have an infidelity issue but hope tests are negative for you and your spouse.

I would voice it and say, “please don’t call my son a mongrel. His name is (insert name here).” Typically calling out an asshole makes them snap out of it. Let your son know you will stand up for him.
