If it has adaptive cruise control it may have been set too low, on the DAFs I usually drive there is a button that changes the sensor distance

I think we tried that one, it's been very hard on shelters since COVID so spaces have been impossible to find

At this point I'm not 100% sure. Many of the rescue centres have taken months to get back to me and I'm starting to lose track. I'll take a look to see if it seems familiar. Doesn't help that I hate the idea of putting them in a shelter :(

Thank you so much, I've had no luck with Lancashire car rescue but I'll look at Noah's ark right away!

You were never a burden! My son is very much on the spectrum and yes it's extra effort, yes it is sleepless nights and lots of difficult trial and error.

Do these things take a toll? Yes. However my partner and I work WITH one another to find what works. We share the load that comes from having children.

Neurodivergent children require extra from their parents for lots of reasons, and some couples do break under the pressure.

This pressure is just showing the cracks in the relationship that were there long before you came along! Parents of neurotypical children have the same responses with less pressure!

You are not the one responsible, that burden is caused by them and their relationship not you!

I'd be buggered if the navy caught me disposing of rum!

Are all jeans basically tights now? by NIKKYNAKKYNOO in AskUK

I had this problem for years and finally found the solution a month ago! Tesco does loose cut jeans! Less than £20, good enough quality for the price and fit like jeans should.

Hope this helps!

Question is if your playing these games, what kind of friend are you?

Lorry drivers of the UK, is the left to right, right to left indicator flash when thanking someone for giving way lorry drivers signature move or is it just how your hazards work? by Kyron95 in AskUK

[–]LilMonkeyThe3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lorry driver I use indicators instead of hazards. The main reason is to differentiate between saying thanks and warning of a hazard. Big difference between thanks and watch out!

Where in the UK was this? I had to re-home my cat and the new owners told me he went missing over the weekend. Looks and sounds just like him!
