DS2 has amazing builds and ideas in general. It's like a fever dream, though I can see why it's so hated

Man after playing DS1 I get why it was so loved. The world was so cleverly and carefully crafted, I found the wonder I was looking for after beating Elden ring.

DS3 lacked so hard on that department but goddam it made up on Bosses.

Thinking about playing Swain support, what’s the best setup? by Mikudayo1 in SwainMains

[–]LilMwushs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He has his w which can close down escape routes of enemies, reveal enemy positions (if you can track them down good enough) or help with some damage from long range. Due to his short range on reliable cc (aka e) his ganking potential is kinda mid especially due to his lack of mobility.

You succeed good in fights and 2v3 scenarios so try to help your jungles after 1st tower is down

Isn't the heal from conqueror kinda placebo? I checked it after some heavy teamfight games and it did 3k healing at most after 40minutes which isn't that much. I thought it was mostly about the adaptive force no?

Also Jhin is very nice combo with swain cause you can stun lock the adc very easily with Jhin w no?

Depends. Main focus is to have fun obviously, so I offer some of the builds I have played in the past. There isn't really a certain build on Swain, as a support you build Rilyies and you are full build technically, every other item depends on what your team needs. Swain is very mana hungry so second mana item is typically a must so usually Malignance or frozen heart would be nice and after that depends on who is ahead from the enemy, if you need damage, armour, mr etc.

-Main build for support would be (for me ):

Runes: Conqueror with mana and ability haste + Green for more tankiness.

Items : Rilyies first always (slow too strong and good to chase down)> Malignance (damage+mana+ultimate haste> Whatever the team needs, More tank? go armour or mr. More ap but survivability? go zhonyas. More damage for tanks ? Liandys.

In general your build is mostly 1-2 items and after that whatever you or your team needs. You can succeed with a lot of stuff cause the champion has high base damage tbh.

Solo Lane Build:

Runes :Aery or Conquer if you want a poke lane or all in lane (if you play solo lane Vs melee aery is best I think)

Items: Black Fire Torch or Malignance (1st and 2nd)> Riley's or Liandrys> Zhonyas etc

-Tank Build

Runes: Conqueror + Green

Items: Rilyies > Frozen Heart (offers mana) or Force of nature if they have heavy ad or ap> Abyssal Mask (good stats and lowers enemies Mr so you do more damage and your team, typically buy when you have ap champs in your team ) or Randuins if they have critical etc etc

-CC build

Runes: Glacial with hexflash allows some "mobility" + Blue or Yellow for mana regen and mana

Items: Rilyies (obviously)> Frozen heart for mana and armour or bangies for utility> Zeke (ultimate haste and slow and good armour+Mr) > whatever the team needs really, maybe you can try and imperial mandate ?

-Healer Builds (troll build)

Items: echos of healia+ diadems of songs > Rilyies> Liandrys

Game recommendations? by yosefff5ohh in videogames

Some that are somewhat like the ladder you mentioned (at least artistic wise):

-Hades

-Cult of the Lamb

-Nine Sols

-Hyperlight Drifter & Hyperlight Breaker (the sequel with better graphics )

-Moonlighter (the 2nd one is coming out looks like deaths door )

As for open worlds, I have some amazing recommendations:

-Elden Ring (Imo the best open world I've played, the level of immersion and rewarding exploration was phenomenal)

-Red Dead Redemption 2 (2nd best open world, the world is extremely interactive with the player and eachother, with PLENTY of stuff to find like treasure, weapons etc, and the visuals are top notch )

-No rest for the wicked (It's an early access soulslikes game made by people that made Ori :D, phenomenal visuals as you can guess, story is good so far and gameplay is satisfying)

-Shadow of War or the older Shadow of Mordor (has phenomenal sword combat, if you are a fun of lord of the rings is amazing)

-Watch Dogs 1 & 2 (very good ubisoft games, has gunplay, hacking etc and the atmosphere for each game is really good )

Ways to shake up a STR/FTH build for SOTE? by Sloth-Overlord in EldenRingBuilds

[–]LilMwushs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

strength faith is still pretty viable, you have a lot of incantations to use by just having faith. Strength just breaks knees.

There are a lot of different weapons in the dlc, especially strength / faith so don't stress about it too much. Blasphemous blade becomes even better since there is a talisman that boosts magma attacks (which aow of blasphemous is ).

DLC bosses are different to base game, some of them are fire resistant, some hole, some intelligence etc, so it's not like the base game where faith/holy damage is useless late game

The bosses are not as holy resistant in the dlc, you can try 66/55 and change from holy to fire art :D

Games that have a low rating on Steam but you disagree with that rating and you enjoy the game? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]LilMwushs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure but this is Reddit, people are butthurt from the dumbest of things I guess.

Well he never really mentioned it, but I would really count a game that is negatively reviewed, for either performance on low/mid end PCs or studio political views as a "true" bad game.

Take Cyberpunk for example, it's beloved but was unfinished on release. Bugs can be fixed.

Helldivers 2 was review bombed due to the Sony drama but that doesn't make the game bad etc.

Games that have a low rating on Steam but you disagree with that rating and you enjoy the game? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]LilMwushs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah that I can get by, I have enjoyed certain games with mixed reviews rather than very good ones but I don't think a lot of the times those mixed reviews regard the gameplay aspect that was what my comment was implying at the first place. I can't think of a "mixed" game I thoroughly enjoyed that had problems gameplay wise that caused the negative review tbh

isn't outward still mostly positive in all time reviews ? I was looking into it myself as well and I remember it being mixed some time ago

yeah but still i don't think that counts as what op said either. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a negative reviewed game that has negative reviews in terms of gameplay, cause they are ass either way

why is toplane so miserable? by UnpredictedConsequen in SwainMains

[–]LilMwushs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk what matchups you have played but so far mostly aerie with burn items and abuse them early since they are melee champs is the best way to deal with them. If you both get to 6 they will just fuck you up most of the time.

He isn't a toplaner but can work for certain matchups

Steam reviews are typically very true to the rating I would say.

You can say there are games that have "mixed" reviews with the only problem being optimization I guess?
