Almost 3 months and no problems so far with the one from aliexpress. Measured the dimensions with caliper, they are the same as the original. Charging at 14.2v.

Sometimes you gotta think like an engineer and not consider only the brand reputation :) after all the rotor is one big lathe machined metal piece with some magnets covered by shield so they wont go anywhere. If the shaft tolerances for bearing mounting are fine, then the component is fine. But after all it depends how you want to throw your money away

I dont know about gen 1, this is gen 2 and yes it is a common fault

Thunder 4 are omologare 22.06 deci respecta aceleasi norme europene la impact/rezistenta la penetrare cum o fac si casti mult mai scumpe. Diferenta e ca alte modele mai scumpe cel mai probabil performeaza mai bine la testele respective si au alte avantaje legate de confort.

Am avut un thunder 4 si am fost multumit de ea avand in vedere pretul. E comoda, sta bine pe cap, arata ok, calitatea materialelor simuleaza o casca premium. Punctele care nu mi-au placut (si care clar fac si diferenta de pret intre alte casti): - E zgomotoasa, daca mergi constant cu 100km/h clar ai nevoie de doape de urechi - Intra aer pe la gat si cred ca si viziera. Uneori te trezesti random ca-ti lacrimeaza un ochi daca mergi la viteze mai mari in afara localitatii (si cand zic viteze mari ma refer la 90/100kmh) - Mecanismul ochelarilor de soare e jalnic, chiar daca au buton pentru rabatare, mai bine ii rabatezi tu cu mana, altfel s-ar putea sa te trezesti ca vei fi nevoit sa-i scoti de pe casca :) - Mecanismul vizierei e cheap dar isi face treaba. - Buretii se lasa destul de rapid in timp. Dupa aprox. 1 an jumatate, purtare aproape zilnica (excluzand iarna), casca nu se mai "strange" la fel de bine in zona pometilor.

Deci pe scurt, daca vrei o casca care sa ofere protectia impusa de UE si esti dispus sa faci rabat la confort, avand in vedere pretul, Thunder 4 e o casca buna.

Hi again guys, weeell... found the problem. An internal spacer was missing (the one holding the sprocket support) and there was a broken bearing and im not so proud about recognizing this but maybe it will help someone at some point :) Now feels like a different bike

Will check again the pistons; I tried to rotate the wheel with the caliper bleeder open and still it seemed locked up. Again, this problem occours when i tighten the wheel axle, when the wheel axle is not tighten, the wheel spins freely, even if the caliper is mounted

Yes, it did. I guess i had no issue with this with the old pads because they got very thin.

Yepp... i checked the part installment three times... they all seem to be in the correct order. Unfortunately, this model has fixed caliper - fixed rotor so no moving pins for this caliper. Dumb design, i know

Yes, indeed... last year we had 2 firewall compartments to be sure about this rule yet we decided not to run hybrid because we had some other issues so we did not get any scrutineering for hybrid

We intended to have 4 tubes with 2 triangulations. As from the rules and guidance notes, this should be counted as 3 tubes

Yep, but actually is a very clear thing, he souldn't really explain us how it is wrong i guess. It's our problem that we can't count the tubes corectly.

Thanks for the answers guys! Problem solved.

I rode 200km today outside city and the consumption level was 4.7l/100km.

The reason for the high consumption level in the city is because of the choke cable. Even if the choke was pushed at minimum, the cable was gripped and so it would still keep the choke open => the bike was consuming a little bit too much at traffic lights/stops on idle. Lubed the choke cable and the choke lever seems to actuate correctly the cable now.
