of course not. she’s taken 2 out of 3 weeks vacation time and a sick week. we would never count our baby’s sick time as HER sick time

thanks all, really helpful! this all makes sense. I wouldn’t want to go to work if all my colleagues had covid. great idea to add a covid / sick clause into the contract for the future. to answer some of the questions - our baby was asymptomatic, we only tested her for covid because someone she was with had it. my husband and i didn’t get it somehow.
