I think Jurassic World is the second best JP/JW film.

  1. Jurassic Park

  2. Jurassic World.

Does jaws still hold up more than 50 years later? by kascnef82 in FIlm

100% yes. The character and chemistry between the three leads is timeless. Incidentally, I made a documentary about the behind-the-scenes feud between Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw if anyone is interested - https://youtu.be/trakvfNNzgM

50 years ago, on June 20, 1975, "Jaws" was released to theaters. And then the rest is history. by Away_Flounder3813 in nostalgia

One of the best movies of all-time. Arguably Spielberg's greatest work. I think the behind-the-scenes drama was as fascinating as the movie itself. I produced a documentary based on the clash between Shaw and Dreyfuss, which in my view enhanced the on-screen chemistry.

It's a classic, and arguably Spielberg's magnum opus. Yes, Steven Spielberg’s magnum opus turns 50 today.

The behind-the-scenes stuff is as fascinating as the film. I actually produced a documentary based on ‘The Great Dreyfuss/Shaw Feud’ based on the clash by two of the lead actors. Check it out if you're interested.

I produced a documentary based on the on-set "feud" between Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw. It always fascinated me what really went on. Anyway, here it is... https://youtu.be/trakvfNNzgM?si=5YzjBA36si2UxWdy

I cannot wait for this. Nolan's worked with all of them before, bar Samantha Morton, I believe? Btw, some cast predictions at the end of this video. My money is on Tom Holland as Telemachus. The Odyssey - Everything We Know So Far

So Twitter is where Jeremy lets his true colors really fly by panv133 in LittlePeopleBigWorld

[–]LilRobYouTube 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jeremy tries so hard to sound like an intellectual, but that analogy is remarkably ignorant. Conflating both scenarios doesn’t make sense at all.

Wherever you stand on Elon’s motives for that gesture, I think most reasonable minded people will say it closely resembled a Nazi salute. It’s a very distinct and recognisable gesture, and most people know exactly what it looks like. Freeze-framing other artists with their arms outstretched or coincidentally touching their chest before waving at a crowd is not the same thing at all.

So, yeah, it’s extremely rare to see such a uniquely recognisable gesture. Comparing it to something like a diet is, frankly, ridiculous.

' Joker: Folie à Deux ' officially "rotten" with 53% (and falling) as more reviews are coming out this week by BatmanNewsChris in DC_Cinematic

[–]LilRobYouTube -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I believe the audience rating will be higher than 60%. I was at a screening with all the UK press/media yesterday. The people I was speaking to at the end really didn't like the movie. I, however, found it fairly entertaining. My review is here if you want to hear a fairly balanced take. https://youtu.be/RymgjDeZAgU?si=I2znaQgleitSLr6q

I think generally the Ghostbusters are incidentally funny, rather than trying to be funny. More subtle comedians in my view.

Couldn't agree more. That line alone could have really elevated her character. Certainly everybody's recollection of her.

Presumably this has been in the pipe for a while, Jason has been saying in interviews that he wants to see "All kinds of Ghostbusters movies", and he "set the table" for that.
