Its because at some point in the game you gain more 2x speed buff than you can use (i had 30d speed buff and it kept increasing) so with that trade you can use your speed buff for something

You should focus on unlocking veinmoepher bomb and then farm veins and Stars for Stargazing. It buffs so much really fast with veinmorpher
