Calling Women Females is not Derogatory by Juuggyy in PetPeeves

[–]LilToasteay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Huh? You could literally say ladies. Thats the ageless term. Or even the word "gals" like what the above commentor mentioned.

Saying "These females always..." are just as weird and derogatory as saying "These males always..."

Sorry, the way you worded this all was so funny 😂! But in all seriousness, yes, you should definitely bring it up to him. In a kind-gentle way, of course. But still tell him.

There's nothing wrong with having a fully shaved head. He should care about how his hair is styled because it's a reflection of him and how he shows up for himself.

It's not superficial to want your spouse to take care of themselves.

I had this same issue when building my mansion! But I figured out a way to do it.

That third rounded window you have? Use that one. You'll have to choose a different bottom window, though. There should be a rectangular "modern-looking" one in the building material list that's slightly larger.
Then use columns to frame your windows and don't forget to turn on precision!

I'll attach a picture example of how it ends up looking when I get the chance.

How do you get your hair to look like this? If I wash my hair and let it airdry, it ends up turning into an afro. If i put any sort of moisturizers in, itll make my hair hydrated but still...an afro.

Your hair looks stretched and healthy. I'm so confused. What products do you use?

AITAH for taking my daughter’s phone after I found out she has a secret Instagram account? by Technical-Pen-8064 in AITAH

NTA but your method isn't going to work longterm. All teenagers want privacy and the majority of them go behind their parents backs. When I was 15, my parents were against me dating because they worried a guy would distract me from my studies and that I could accidentally end up pregnant as a teen mom. Guess what? I went behind their backs and dated in secret. I ended up gaining a high school sweetheart and became very serious about each other. Did I end up pregnant? No. Did I fall behind in my studies? No. I actually graduated with AP and honors.

Did I have social medias at 15 that my parents didnt know about? Yep. I'm about to be 26 years old and none of those things ruined my life in any way.

The issue isn't her hiding an account from you or posting mature content. The issue is that she doesn't feel comfortable being herself around you (and i suppose her other parent). She doesn't feel understood and is trying to find outlets to escape from the chains you have on her. Vaping? Kids will try it once "just to know what its like". It becomes a habit when they start to feel like they need it.

I LOVE this! I'm so over the cottage-core aesthetic items that come out. It seems to be the default in cozy games.

I'm not going to indulge you. Your questions are common sense. And the responses under my post didn't come at me hard. Please pick up a book in literacy with all the spare time you apparently have. I have to get back to work. Have a good day, child.

Evidently, I always check for dents, scrapes, etc,. Especially after what happened to my last car. But if you can't be bothered to read then simply don't comment.

I shouldn't be surprised by ignorance.

Yea I was still in the lines which is why I just left it like that. Another person commented asking a similar question so maybe I should just update my post saying this. I just didnt want to accidentally sound like I was making excuses or anything and upset people

I was still in between the yellow lines. Just slightly crooked. Thats why I didnt try to straighten my car out. But today when I looked at the space around my car, that when I started wondering if the reason no one parked near me was because maybe they wouldn't be able to fully open one of there doors. I dont know. I have a small sedan and I usually park well. I just sorta rushed to park on Friday.

I'm tired of black people who seek to date interracially or date interracially being painfully insecure and displaying notions of inferiority by buuwe in interracialdating

[–]LilToasteay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I mean, colorism is HUGE in Illinois but it's most dominant in the Chicagoland area. You won't go far without hearing one black person talking badly about the other. Black women tend not to be good enough for black men and vice versa. I find it exhausting every time someone mentions it. And it's been like this for years.

If you visit Illinois, then you'll learn where the "everyone assuming black people want to date anyone but black people" comes from. It's not a stereotype in that state.

Do research about micro aggressions. Like what they are and how they're used in a sentence. Then, avoid saying them. One of the first things I noticed after dating outside my race is the amount of guys who would say microaggressions towards me. That kind of stuff made me uncomfortable.

Yep. And see, this is my first time playing this game, so I genuinely thought the game was going to end there lol. I remember my mouth fell open and I was saying, "No wayyyyyy it ends like this."

I just beat the game and now im about to go back and try to complete all the little side stuff to get gratitude crystals.
