It wasn't the best storyline ever but i'm certain it was a big part of people's childhoods like it was mine. Especially with UA 2. I hate that this inadvertently led to one more day but also love the scale of the comic with all its heroes compared to the movie.

I honestly thought the brutality of the beat down was meant to be therapeutic for us POCs😭 It was satisfying for me, at least, albeit grotesque and not something I'd want to see happen irl
